So since Ive gotten into vaping two days ago, Ive been talking to my mom about it. She is really happy and proud that Ive given up the ciggs. My old man is 66, and has been a pack a day smoker for as long as I can remember.

Tonight she was reading about the Halo setups and had some questions. I got on Halos website, looked at everything they had, read a ton of reviews and gave her the thumbs up. So in the morning she is ordering my pops one of the Halo Triton starter kits, a sample pack of juice, and some coil replacements. She was concerned that it may be to complicated for the stubborn old goat, but I assured her that if he can rebuild a lawn mower motor, he can unscrew two pieces of metal and fill a tank with liquid.

I started smoking 25 years ago because of him, now he will be quitting because of me. Funny how things come full circle sometimes.

Sorry to hear that Holly. Pops has been having a rough time the past year or so, he had prostate cancer surgery, and was back smoking against Dr's advice three days after he was out. My ma was saying lately his coughing fits have been about the worst shes heard. So hopefully this will do the trick.

awwwww,,,,,,I do hope it helps him :) Keep us updated,,,,,,,,what a fabulous thing that would be if he DID quit!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss Holly.
.

aw, thank you. He was one of the reasons I had to quit smoking,,,,,,,,,I think he'd be proud :)

After he died, though,,,,,,,,we found a box of the Nicorette gum (unopened) on his dresser,,,,,,,,,he had plans to quit :( Just not soon enough,,,,,,,I think if we'd known about e-cigarettes, he'd have quit for sure :(

My daughter will soon be one of us, too! Each time I go see her (she's nearly middle-aged), I take my mods filled with my favorite e juices. Before long, with delight, I tell her she just has to taste this one and this one, etc...and today she ordered a starter kit and some juice! She has seen all the ways my health has improved and wants to quit smoking herself. I am so proud of her! This weekend I will be showing her the ins and outs to get the best experience possible and I can't wait for her to never pick up a cigarette again! Yeah!

I feel this way when I think about my dad (who also died in his 50s from complications from smoking) & aunt with emphysema, 3 cousins, 3 of their kids who are now adults & smokers, 3 brother n laws, and several friends.....just too many people to think about who might have had a chance if they'd known about ecigs. We're very lucky and I hope some of those mentioned above find out about them & make the change.

Sorry for your loss Holly. It's a hard thing.

Good luck to you & your dad Dave. I hope this works for you both.

My Dad quit smoking, but would smoke when I would go overseas for a 5 week visit. I smoked black tabac, but he preferred the blonde. He would say, "son are you sure you want the Rex,or the Fortuna" Fortuna was blonde. When I would get there he would have a carton of each, the Fortuna for him. My mom would jump his ..... He would tell her I can smoke while James is here. I brought him back to the USA 45 days before he passed. I would give him "drags" off my Cig,as he called it. He did not see me quit, but I know he would be loving this Vape.
