I took out the back switch and grounded the spring to the casing, i was then able to test my switches to see if they worked. After hours of messing around i broke one of the ends off of both of my switches so i gotta go back to radioshack and buy some more. I think i got this all figured out and hopefully will beable to post some pics tomorrow.

Took me FOREVER. The button REALLY has to be pushed down to work, but i think its going to wear in with some time. Works great, produces great vapor and looks good.

Sorry for the horrible pics haha, cam keeps running out of batts.

Thanks, i already plan to get another black cree to try again, plan to use the LED and ive got a few other ideas.

Does anyone know how i could rig up a master on / off switch in the back where the original switch was? I took that switch out and just grounded the spring to the case so i could get it working. I probably still have all the parts to the original switch but i have no clue how it goes together lol.

I too am in the works of creating my own Ecig.. I've NEVER done anything like this before so I'm hoping I get it right the first time. I've got 3 packs of CR2's coming with a charger that Madog recommended... Actually, I'm noticing alot of you modders recommended them. I didn't realize it took 14 days for them to ship from Dealxtreme.com. That's kinda lame in my opinion, but hey, free shipping is ALWAYS a plus!

Yeah deal extreme is great if you can afford to wait for the shipping, it only took me 15 days to receive my cree cr2s and charger.
15 FRIGGIN Days?!?! Sheesh! I really hope it doesn't take that long... I can probably have this whole thing done before my batteries get here... lol.

haha to my understanding 15 days is pretty quick for dealextreme, i got impatient waiting for my stuff to come so i made a USB passthrough to use until i could build the screwdriver clone.

The button has worn in and it activates much easier now, ive also over dripped / filled the cart and had e-juice all the way down to the spring on the batt haha! just wiped it all clean and it works great still. Huge consistant vapor.
