very neat idea for portability
ive been using some 3.7 volt phone batteries in some mods and they work very well
nice and easy to charge as well

I really like this one , creation from scratch , gets away from the hey its a cig clone, or a crack pipe... I can see this finished in a nice anodized plate ... waaaaay cool, its actually an idea I tossed around for my own use...Glad to see yours would have put mine to shame... I think I will adapt mine to be a nice luxurious timber finish

I like the idea of being able to move the atomizer out the way .
I'm currently in the throws of designing a retractable atomizer that works like a pen. You push the atomizer down into the battery case to store , then push it down and it pops up and makes contact to the switch and supply ready for action.

It's certainly the most user friendly I have seen so far......It's got all the bases covered....it seems almost the perfect design to me.

There's lots of factories in China need more work. I know that it's not an easy step if not done anything like that before (I haven't) but it's worth looking into.

I can only suggest a browse on MadeInChina.com or Alibaba to maybe get some possible contacts and make some initial enquiries. A factory that makes with most similar in materials and assembly ...

I heard that the SD might from soon be made by the factory that currently makes the torch part. So these things are possible. But if you prefer the quiet life, I understand that too

Just wanted to add my congratulations to you on a fantastic mod, my favourite so far! I was looking at an old Nokia cell phone a few days ago, the battery has no cover on this phone (it's really worn out, i use it for job) and noticed the 3.7 value on it. And my mind started wondering about the endless possibilities, of which you for surely choosed the best one! Love the folding atomizer design!
