but honestly, what's to patent? a two point pivot? been done. flat batt? not mine. atomizer? nope, but i wish i had! lol!
the way i see it, it would be like trying to patent the station wagon after the car and van had been introduced. it's a relatively natural progression of an existing technology. patents do allow for improvements on existing tech, but only if they are not an obvious improvement.

trust me, if *I* could think of it.... it must be pretty obvious.

external. i like being able to have a fresh batt on standby and not being tied down to a charger, though the addition of a passthrough circuit would certainly be attractive.

I don't know much about Patent's and design rights but I have noticed that Imeo has put some sort of patent on his GG.....I think the sidewinder is such a real winner of a design that perhaps it should be protected so that no large scale manufacturer could copy it
