I have always been a provari girl. I work with horses and that thing is indestructible. I've run it over with tractors and had it trampled by crazy horses and although it's now gun metal grey, it's still ticking with the trusty kayfun on top.

About a month ago, I decided to dive head first into mods and I decided to go big and I purchased an authentic Turtle Ship mod and the difference between it and the Provari was amazing. I bought a new UD-AGA-T5 to go with it and I began to see what mods were really like.

I seem to have this new 'love' for shiny things and today, I received a new sting ray in the mail complete with an authentic big dripper rdta and I set to work figuring it out. The dual coil thing took me for a loop for about 20 minutes till I figured it out and once done, it was reading .42 on the ohm reader and I smiled.

The only bad thing I'm finding is the amount of juice that I'm now going through.

hahaha

I have been reluctant to say this and give fuel to all those idiots out there that bash on the Provari, but since all of us on this thread so far at least acknowledge what a fine device the Provari I have to say this - I know all tube style devices invite the phallic jokes, but am I the only one that thinks Provari's have an even more "marital aid" look to them than most? ;)

haha@ havoc:facepalm: I never noticed that till you brought it up. lol The Provari is still my daily driver when I'm at work. I love the battery consistency. I've noticed with the mechanicals, you're good, you're good and then you're gone. lol. So far, I love the T5 over the big dripper. I've not once dripped before I got the big dripper and when I figured it out, I was amazed although it's so intense. Maybe I'm still on a learning curve with it. I even had to go down to 2mg juice when using it as it started affecting my sleep. The T5 is going to be like the Russian I think. I already love it. Super easy to fill from the bottom. Looks like a PITA to fill from the top. It's a nice clean vape. The gold tone that I got looks a bit flashy though. lol The TS is amazing. It's very smooth and you can see that it's very well made. I'm just not sure about throwing it into my pocket for use during the day if you KWIM? The ONLY thing with the TS that I don't is the Devlin (?) that you have to screw around with to get the battery tight. If its not, it sounds like a flashlight with the battery moving all around. I like the sting ray but am not so in love with it yet. I seem to still have turtle ship itis so haven't played around with it much. Do you throw your mech in your pocket with lock on and not worry about it? Am I just being paranoid here? One good thing from going to the mod side is I've now reduced my nic intake by a lot. Last year, when I quit with the eGo C Twist, I was using 24mg nic and stayed there for 9 months till I started smoking again. This time around, the highest nic I use is 12mg and that's for about an hour in the morning with java. After that, I've coasting with 6mg and using 2mg at night. That says a lot about the devices that I'm now using. I will still use the Provari for work though. My love affair with it will never die. If you can offer some advice on the mechanicals that I have, please do. I'm still in newbie mode with them all. Thanks
