I am currently looking for a new mod to compliment my Provari V2. Variable Voltage is a must but it can be box or tube. I would like to stay under $100 as this is the mod I will most likely use at work. I am a firefighter so I'm constantly worried I am going to mess up my Provari when using it at work. The only other things I know that I absolutely do not want is a bottom feeder or a wood mod. I would love a cool looking Box Mod but the only ones I've been seeing look to big, cheap and bulky. I would love something close to the size of the Darwin but I do not feel like spending another $200 on a mod.

Thank you

I have a ProVari, a couple Lavatubes, and a few eGo twists. I'd recommend the Twists as backups because they are so cheap and hold their voltage well, 4.8 on your ProVari is the same as 4.8 on the Twist. I really can't recommend the Lavatube, the voltage changes over the cycle of the battery and they just aren't built to last, even as a backup. The finish is coming off of both of my Lavatubes and misfires like crazy, and I'm easy on my mods.

The Ego Twist looks like a great option. I rarely vape over 4.8 volts and $35 looks good. Will it work with standard 510 connections? Also, how long does it last on a single charge?
Yes, it has a 510 connection. The 1000mAh version should get most people through the day and I've had no issues. But I also carry the usb charger with me just in case. I'm sure if you shop around you can get a better deal than $35. If you contact LdaSense, you may be able to get our last two from the co-op for $20 each. You'll have to be Verified to view the forum though.

Get a VV Bottom Feeder, try and a Reo Grand VV when released soon or a Reo Woodvil, but if you don't want to wait plus take the risk of being shutout(both are limited release)... get a VV Bogger Box(I just bought one, they are very high quality). This will give you a well rounded arsenal of vapage.

My main PVs are both Provaris too. I ordered a Twist last week as the reviews were all so good. I am shocked at how well this Twist works. I have the 1000Mah batt and it lasted me 12 hours yesterday compared to all my Provari batteries which have never lasted me over 6 hours. My usual setting on my provari is 5.3V with a 2ohm dual coil. With the twist I am running a 2.8 Pheonix bottom coil and have my twist right at 4v and it rocks! It will never replace my provari as a main vape, but as a backup that I will use a few hours a day when out and about, I highly recomend it. I got mine at Joye eGo-C Twist Variable Voltage 1000mAh Battery for 27.99. I like it well enough that I am ordering a 2nd one.

The REO VVWoodvilles are sold out for sure, but worth mentioning is that REO is really stepping up his production and is prepared to offer a substantial number of VV Grands. The first sale night will have 300 units, followed shortly by another 200, and he has an additional 550 bodies being processed now, so the first 500 will be followed by another 500 or so in a short amount of time.
