I'm a young guy, 24 and my ears are pretty good. I can hear high frequencies like the ringing of a CRT television.
My Provari makes such a noise, from the chip whenever I press the button.
Can anyone else hear this from their device?
I saw a thread in a google search that it might be part of the circuit board known as the L7 chip that handles the amp limit. They didn't say it was anything adverse just that it occurs and it is audible.
and from Aussie Vapers (no idea whether it's against the rules to link them)
"The type of voltage converter used in the provari has an inductor (coil) in it and the noise is being electro-mechanicly generated in it. Normally the frequency these run at is well above what we humans can hear but perhaps under some conditions this drops into the audible range. I don't have one but perhaps Stoney could enlighten us further."

How odd!
