Not like I'm getting a call. But sometimes when I have my iPhone in one hand and my provari in the other, when I hold down the vape button my phone makes a faint high-pitched tone.

At least i think it's coming from the phone, could be the PV. It seems to be position-dependent, and will stop if I reposition them a little.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

That's kinda strange, what carrier are you with? Is it AT&T or T-mobile? I'm not sure if you remember but some years back, gsm phones always made speakers and improperly shielded electronics buzz or hum. Maybe this is a reverse case. I don't have a provari but I sometime last year I was trying to make a fractal antenna for my tv and I noticed that if I used my lavatube v1 too close to the antenna or tv, all reception would be lost until I released the button or moved away. Tried it with a few other pvs and I never got the same results. Nothing else has shown to receive similar interference from it. I doubt anything harmful is happening in your case. :)

Not here, but you realize all around the world right now people are firing their PVs next to their iPhones and listening closely.:p
My plan is working >:-]
I just tried it, and.........nothing .......
I can't make it happen reliably. It seems to be very position-sensitive. If its happening and I move one of them a couple inches (even if I move them closer) it stops.

It is due to PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) in the circuitry of your device. The APV is leaking radio noise (radiation) and your phone is picking it up under the right circumstances. The power circuits in regulated APVs aren't shielded other than the APV body. PWM devices output an on/off voltage called PWM at some frequency the designer had in mind.

My guess is that the radiation is hitting the speaker amplifier in the phone and that gives you the squeal.
