You may have seen me criticize and/or question the ECA's effectiveness and actions in the effort to support personal vaporizers.

I've had some recent conversations with the folks at the ECA and a personal phone call with ECA president Matt Salmon.

In addition, some of the information and conversations I've provided them are going to be used in our fight for PVs.

My feelings and opinions of this organization have made a complete turnaround. I truly feel they are acting in our best interest and now understand that although we may not see all the activities they are involved in, they ARE involved.

pbusardo, I have heard/seen some of your criticisms about the ECA and pretty much agreed with them. I have to give you kudos for going out of your way to talk with them and get the true story and to "recant" your criticisms. Good on you and good on the ECA.....I sure hope to see some of the effects of their work in the very near future! :thumb:

Thanks all. I will say that I'm losing a bit of steam in the fight.

I'm still a vapor and haven't had an analog since July 7th, however,

Friends who wanted to follow me are still smoking analogs AND using their Ecigs, so this is discouraging.

The news that they banned e-cigs in LI is discouraging.

I'm trying to start a small little business to sell these things, not to make a ton of money, but because I believe in them and I'm running into issue with Craiglist and local radio and that is discouraging.

People would rather buy a piece of crap with no support from the mall than spend a few extra dollars for the entire kit + support + sit down consultation with instruction and that is discouraging.

So, needless to say, I'm discouraged and haven't been posting a lot here.

pbusaro,

Do not be discouraged, there was not an outright ban on Long Island. They will fall under the same laws as analogs (not an outright ban) and this still has to be signed by Levy before it becomes a law.

so...no ban here....
