Oh, this thread is degrading quickly...I like it.

Oh, and the official name is ".... plug", not simply plug. We must keep our official lingo official.

Yeah, this stuff sounds downright dirty, doesn't it?

No worse than plumbing parts..

nipples, nuts, male and female ends...

or maybe I need to just get my mind out of the gutter.

I have a question... When you say top end up, does that mean the mouth piece up, or the battery side up?

the battery end should be facing away from you (on the outside of the circle you are spinning. i made this to clarify things for people.

Oh.my.god. I can't believe I just sat and read every single page of this thread. You people are LUNATICS!

And I'm proud to now be a new member of this crazy tribe. :D

Just one question. I've seen the refilling video but, Taryn, you talked about rinsing and drying the carto. Is there a video or some explicit instructions on how to do this? I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before I embark on the adventure that is refilling. But I can't wait to spin - even if I'm only using one arm, I could definitely use the exercise. Any exercise.

You guys are really crazy. And I mean that in the best way!

There is no video yet but it's a very simple process for me, take off the white cap and o ring then I run it under hot tap water. Blow the water through from the mouth end a few times. Then when the batting looks white and the smell is gone I just give it some long huffs to push the rest of the water out. Dry the outside and inner edge with a paper towel. You can let them sit open to dry fully. I've been known to fill right away if I'm in a hurry.

Thanks for the very clear explanation - I know exactly what to do now. :)

Thanks for this tip! I read this string last week while waiting for my FIRST EVER e-cig kit and felt like a pro when I got it. This blowing out method is IMPORTANT ....especially in my case: new at playing with refilling....and new at everything else. I have used this blowing out at least 6 times in the past week since getting my kit. THANKS AGAIN

Get a countdown timer for chargers.

I've never heard of such a thing. Once a battery is dead, it will take about 3 1/2 hours to recharge. I also have a couple longer batteries that take about 4 hours. Once the light on the USB component changes from red to green, it's fully charged.

I've been told to never leave it on the charger for more than 6 hours. In other words, no overnight charging.

So far since I've had my batteries (about 3 weeks) I put one in to charge before I go to bed, unplug it in the morning and put the other one in to charge until the light turns green (an hour or so). But it hasn't seemed to hurt the one that's been left in overnight, as far as I can tell.????
