Not all PVs are e-cigs.

Until there is scientific evidence supporting its safety and efficacy, we cannot support its use as a cessation device.
The World Health Organization has issued an advisory on e-cigarettes, warning that they are not considered a legitimate therapy for smokers trying to quit:

Why the emphasis on quitting?

Since E-cigarettes are drug delivery devices, they should fall under the FDA's purview. This is why we are calling on the FDA to assert its authority to regulate the product.

Does this mean that the glass you pour your beer into is a drug (alcohol) delivery device and should be regulated by the FDA? I know a somewhat facetious remark.

CTFK and PM together with Rep Waxman, effectively negotiated the details of the FDA tobacco Bill (AKA the save PM Market Share Billl)

The World Health Org?? Aren't they the same crowd who BURIED their own report saying that they couldn't prove 2nd hand smoke caused health issues for others?? Wow. If that's who you're quoting, your stuff is weak!

so are they afraid of losing their bread and butter funding too ?

Isn't one of the major problems the incompetents have is that younger folk, teenagers, will be attracted by the exotic flavors? Then get hooked on nicotine? Sorry if this been mentioned/asked before.
