Wow, if that is what you took out of that thread and the posts made, I guess I am glad I have not posted much. I have been lurking on every subforum on this site as a newer member and no where have people been less welcoming about an opinion than this one.

Heck look at what Dawn posted today and the responses she got from a few. Its a shame really. The cult like following can be a great thing for a product, the cult like mentality is never a good thing for newcomers to any subforum.

Two members (and me for quoting) had posts deleted (in the first 10 or so posts) in my thread by the way for "interesting" posts. Not one and then the thread derailed.

There is no "cult-like following". Apparently you missed all the strife here regarding dissection of cartos and the resulting questioning of materials in use, a lot of dissatisfaction at CS issues and the lack of representation here...it goes on and on. And you choose to ignore the fact that most were very supportive of Dawn, with one person taking an alternate viewpoint. It's called a "discussion forum" for a reason.

I guess I've got a thick skin. Insults or name-calling on an internet forum are just words on a screen. I don't let it affect my product choices, and I don't get upset that someone doesn't agree with me, or presents a dissenting viewpoint.

Intriqken.... thats it..

Golfer.... remember that Red did appologise to you.. Ive gone mrs Hulk a couple of times, and find it refreshing that theres room for all. people even made a bit of fun of him, and put him in a skirt.. He himself just thought that to be funny.. I was on your side at first, but seriously think your beeing a kid about it now..
Dude, you got heeps of nice answers, but you insist on focusing on the one bad one.. even after he said sorry..... And you badmouth this forum.. we have fun here, and people take eveything with a mellow attitude... chill out geez.... You seem to WANT to be a victim...

Dawn hes not calling you a quack, but just saying you shouldnt feel responsible for people getting turned of the product, after reading your review.. state your true opinion, with out fear of concequences... who wants to be at a forum where noone can say what they mean?

Golfer, I remember exactly the three posts that were deleted. One was Red’s for calling you a name, one was yours for quoting him, and the third was deleted because that poster called Red a ..... for calling you a name (again, someone coming to your defense).

Wow, if that is what you took out of that thread and the posts made, I guess I am glad I have not posted much.

Honestly, at this point, so am I.

I was one of the ones who defended you, and frankly, I think you just have not accepted Red's apology. You said you did, but your continuing to bring it up tells me you haven't.

So here's a good example where quoting a post you are responding to would have saved a lot of confusion. I also misunderstood who he was referring to, but now it makes a ton more sense.

I would say no. Unless the person was purporting to be an expert on a particular topic when he clearly demonstrated that he was not. Then he would fit the definition of a quack and you would at least be justified in applying that label.

I'm saying it would be nice to avoid all labels, slings, arrows, etc., unless someone has gone on to such a point that you do it as a last resort.

Was it something I said?
I didn't get the eye twitching thing. What am I missing?
Manifesto of the bloog subforum.
Here in the bloog subforum we unanimously reject the confines of threads, subjects and staying on topic. You have to read EVERY post in EVERY thread to really keep up. The organization as a forum only helps outsiders search for a particular subject, the regulars treat the whole subforum as a chatroom, refusing to have our conversations limited to specific threads. Think of it as a self-referencing meme-factory.
But to clue you in, the twitching has to do with 20% discounts, valium, stress, and according to at least one member, the lack of a super mini battery!

speaking of mini-batteries (65mm), and to follow in fashion with what analog said about going off-topic, i only have the 78mm mf battery and was wondering if the 65mm mini mf battery lasts as long and is as powerful as the 78mm battery. i only ask, because i know there is presumably a difference in power and battery life between a regular size and an xl size battery (at least from other kr808 vendors i've used i the past) thanks!

Yes, there is a difference in batt life. There is about 100 mAh difference between them.
