As much ordering I do for hardware, cartos, juice and what not, each and every time I order I immediately receive a confirmation of my order. Within a day I receive a shipping notification; granted this is accomplished by autoresponders. In late January I placed my first order with Bloog and waited for a confirmation...and waited...and waited for 3 days. I emailed only to receive a one sentense response "yes we received your order". Okay....I let it go for another 2 days then emailed to ask if my order was shipped out yet. 48 hrs later I receive a short email saying my order wasn't placed because they were out of stock, someone will contact me with further information. I waited another 2 days then emailed again. I then received a reply the following day saying they will receive stock within a week, would I be willing to wait. WTF, I've waited this long, why not.

Mid February, still nothing. Emailed again asking what is going on with my order...still waiting for the shipment to come in.
Second week of March I receive an automated email saying my order was shipped, here's your confirmation number. Okay, finally, my order is on it's way.

Ummmm, it's now March 22nd and I still haven't received anything.

I wanted to try some Bloog products but I'm done with this ordeal.

That sucks. I really feel for you. It is such a shame. Bloog is a good product, though I don't have anything to compare it to. But I can't deal with the poor CS even if you chalk it up to a growing company... There are just way too many good suppliers of good product out there I have found.

Sorry, but did you just contradict yourself? You have nothing to compare it too, but you've found other suppliers of good products? Or is it just that you've found other suppliers of supposedly good products that you haven't yet tried?

Here's the straw that broke the camels back...this is my actual response email after I asked if my package actually went out based on the 'confirmation' I received.....

"That is a little weird. Because we definitely shipped it out and was picked up by USPS. If you could give them a call and try to find out what they did with it, then let us know what their response is. We apologize for the inconvenience."

So "I" the customer am the one who has to trace my own package to find out what happened to it, then after I find out I have to let you know about it?

Come on, this is totally unreal!


I'm very sorry about that, SB. If you give me your order#, I can check on it for you.

Smoking Bullet I so feel for you! When I order something I check the tracking every day on top of stalking my mail carrier, like I suspect many do! I would be sooo very upset waiting over a month now, or almost 2 months from what you're saying? sheesh

I placed my second order with bloog last night. This one is a split shipment, 2 pks of carts going to me, and 2 batteries and a pack of carts going to my daughters house.... We'll see how it goes...

I'm not going to get drawn into a childish forum fight... I'm here to find information about using ecig as an alternative to smoking.
I should not have responded in the first place to comments regarding hurting a manufacturers feelings in a public forum...geez

It is not so much about over reacting, as it is about not having to deal with other vendor's products. If I wanted to talk about those products I would go there. Here people will tend to give the "bloog" is best speech. It is where it should be given.

I have a daughter and son-in-law who prefer the riv4l batteries. I have another son-in-law and myself, both of us prefer the bloog batteries.

Now can we get an objective opinion here on the other kr808 batts? I am not comfortable discussing the pros and cons of each companies batteries here. And many other forum members feel the same way.

If I were to take it private or to another more appropriate forum. Then yes, I could give an objective view of the batteries I have bought and tried.

Last I checked I didn't see a particular forum dedicated to complaints about suppliers...and I seriously doubt there will be. I believe a forum should be a place for sharing information; good or bad, not bashing anyone or any supplier.
It would be wonderful to believe that once you post to a particular supplier blog, that supplier or a representative should be reading the posts and paying attention to what's being said. Customer service is the back bone to any business. It's been shown that people will knowingly purchase inferior products from a company who has stellar service. On the other hand, people are also willing to pay a bit more for a product offered elsewhere, just so they receive quick responses, and courteous service, a company that truly cares about their customers.
Unfortunately through my direct experience and from what I've read here and other forums BloogPlanet is in my eyes, a disillusionment suffering from customer service ethics and the lack of.
"Are we creating a climate for misinterpretation and defensiveness?" Are we? No, I don't think "we" are the ones who have done this, it's because "we" are dealing with a company who has in itself created this climate. There is no "we" about this, it all starts with the supplier and it's representatives. "We" are only disseminating our information in the form or our personal experiences via this forum.

Dee, I wasn't referring to the defense of the vendor forum and in no way was I talking about you.
I just meant that because of the past strife, new people coming in and reading those might be a little more defensive about being corrected and as they see it attacked. A little understanding will go a long way.

I thought you did a fine job of explaining about vendor forums and the general forums.

Not quit what I was trying to get across, but you make a very valid and reasonable point.

Edit: I do want to add that in my opinion I see a good reliable product as being part of good customer service, and one is not an exchangeable for the other. I will not give my money for an inferior product no matter what the "customer service" is like.

Oh good grief. I asked a simple question, sorry if your delicate feelings got smooshed. You said I haven't tried anything else but know there are better things out there. Gawd, why do I bother? :-x

Don't let it bother you. I think we have a bit of a reputation outside of this forum as being bullies and censors. It's not justified in my opinion (hell, we complain about the CS issues and product issues more than anyone), but I think it's true, and people come in here in a defensive stance.
