Don't let emotion cloud your reasoning. Like it or not, tobacco products should have been the regulatory prevue of the FDA from day one. The only thing that's kept it out of their hands is a powerful tobacco lobby. The problem isn't that the FDA is going to take over regulating tobacco. The problem is that traditional smoking products and new low risk products get treated the same under this bill.
