Hi,

Last night I was vaping my silver bullet without any issues. When I was done I took my tank off and put it down for the night. When I got up in the morning and went to take a pull it wouldn't fire. I figured the battery was dead, so I charged my battery, when it was done charging I put it back in and it wouldn't fire at all. Any suggestions? I got a suggestion to take a small flat head screwdriver and try to pull up the connection inside because it may have gotten pushed down too far but that didn't work. Help.

Thanks,

The best thing you can do with any APV is to use a solid 510-to-510 connector permanently screwed into the top end. Then buy a multimeter.

With a solid adapter on the top you can't damage the device's connector thread; you can't push the centre pole (the positive terminal) down; you can't leak liquid into it causing degradation of the silicone insulator between the positive and negative poles, or worse, leakage down into the device wrecking the switch or electronics; and you know that faults are likely to be in the heads not the device. Don't use a regular 510-to-510 as it will leak liquid downward - use a solid adapter. It also allows you to use a dripshield when using an atty.

You need a meter if you own an APV. You can't diagnose the simplest fault without a meter. In this particular case you'd set it to DC volts, and carefully (so as not to short pos to neg) test for voltage at the APV top connector when the button is pressed. Then set the meter to resistance on the lowest ohms scale and test the head unit out (the carto or whatever). Now you know what you have or don't have. Buy a $10 multimeter before anything else.
