My sisters nautilus aspire mini

My sister has an nautilus aspire mini. She puts bramd new coils in and it tastes burnt for some reason. She using it on a Tesla spider twist. What gives?!

The wick isn't saturated. I let mine sit for 5 to 10 minutes after a coil change. Sometimes I can prime it by blocking the airhole and taking some pulls on it but leting it saturate works best for me.
