I over analyze everything too. I have been reading and looking, watching videos and checking into everything I am totally consumed!
I hear you and I have decided that I am recommending the 808's to my family anyway. Majority of the 510 websites have so much stuff they are incredibly overwhelming. To me the 808's are an easier way to begin.
Two big reasons I hesitated are that it would be super convenient to order carts or clearos from the same place I grab some juice (oops..We are strictly calling it liquid since we have kids in the house) and the couple places I have found in town do not have 808 supplies either.
But I have no qualms shopping online, I just stocked up on 3 boxes of the SI CE3's for 7.66 a box that is $1.53 ea! and for at least the next two or three months I will not have to pick up anything but my choice of more liquids![]()
I don't know if it was as good of a deal as the comparable 510 item would have been. But at this point it doesn't matter. I don't have the time to price match 100+ recommended vendors. I have determined that: If each battery last 6 months and If I can get clearo's for under $2.00 every time, if I were to use each clearo for a week and toss it, my refill cost will be about .60 each mL. For both my husband and I to vape all we want, our daily costs will be less than $3.50. We used to spend over $9 a day. With a $50 a month budget just for liquids, I can spend another $200 on various batteries this year and still not hit $1500. Our smoking cost us $3500 last year alone. I need to put more time on my coupons anyway. I buy everything we eat at rock bottom prices and stock up, my price per each (ppe) on everything I buy at a grocery store is averaging at $1 or less.
I have my eye on a handsome green or light blue or maybe a raspberry volt for spring and I like the idea of a pcc but might go with a portable charger that can work with my KFHD and phone just because they are fun and handy. So excited The Big Savings are coming soon!!!
I decided if my friends and family want to advance they can move forward in any direction they like, at least they are not starting with something that has zero options! I have found at least dozen sites that I have bookmarked with 808 items. Plus aren't we all spending money that would have been up in smoke and in a big .... can anyway. I have to keep that it in perspective.
Can't argue with success and we can all see the results of your 808 purchase and that's what counts. As for upgrading SI has recently extended their offering of PVs to compete with 510 threaded PVs- larger batteries, variable voltage, clearomizers.
Congrats.
