ok, so i made this post a second ago, trying to get vendors to carry a higher volume of a liquid i like, and I didn't introduce myself, so i thought i should do that.
fair warning i'm going to ramble... it's early and still sleepy...
I am somewhat new to vaping but not really, a couple years ago I ordered a DSE901 kit, and quit smoking for about 2 weeks before constant battery switching and having to refill the cartridge every few min drove me crazy and i just went back to smoking. Once i started back to analogs i was back up to a PAD within days.
fast forward to a month ago, i was at work and a co-worker of mine pulled out a silver-bullet and started vaping away. my immediate thought was WTF?!?!? she's a 2+PAD smoker how in the world did she convert? so i went and talked to her about it and got updated on the world of vaping a little bit. when i got home, i mentioned it to my wife and she was interested(because i would quit smoking) but didn't really say anything else about it for 2 weeks, then she just up and said that she though i should try it again. With her blessing to spend money(don't fool yourself guys) i started doing research... I immediately threw out the idea of another 901, it didn't quite do it for me the first time even when i was vaping it. So i thought ok, i'll try a 510 this time. I didn't like the liquid that comes with the kits so i ordered some liquid and a drip tip as well. got it in 3 days later and was in love, except for the fact i was swapping out batteries every two hours, and i was dripping every 2 mins...
so the next week, i hit up madvapes for their 5V 3AA mod, and some clearomizers. with that combination of 5V, 24hr battery life, and only refilling 2-3 times a day i was finally able to go from a PAD down to 3-4 and then to non in a matter of 8-10 days. my sole goal in all of this was not to quit nicotine, but to convert to e-cigs as a safer alternative to smoking. This route i took isn't exactly the best way to go about it, i've spent $200 in about 2 weeks... but i'm going to make that money back, just give me 2 months of not smoking!
On a side note, my profession is a Respiratory Therapist, I know everyone on this forum knows the benefit of swapping, otherwise you wouldn't be here. But i have to say it, i have seen people in shapes of health that make you wonder how they are still alive and it was caused by smoking, and it's never swayed me from my addiction because i was addicted well before i ever learned my trade. To all of you that have converted or are in the process of converting my hat's off to you, because with any luck i will never have to take care of you, due to some respiratory disease that was brought on from smoking. It makes me feel good knowing that their is an available alternative that is MUCH safer.

And to all of those big tobacco funded organizations like, The American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, etc... do me a favor and shut up! If you truly cared about peoples health you would push for safer alternatives to smoking no matter what form they were in, because even the FDA agrees that it's safer, they just can't make any money off it which is why they are so angry...
