From left to right:

- 901->510 adapter
- 801->510 adapter
- my precious: slightly smaller (lenght and width) than the DSE905, a little longer than a DSE801 batt. Uses 18650 2400mAh batt, charged in place with a USB adapter. 901 connector. First take, is 1cm longer than it should be.
- 801 batt
- 18650 batt

Wonderful!

I very much like the way the battery can be charged in place. This is the way to do it, it's quick and simple to do and saves wear on the head cap threads.

Have you thought about nickle plating it? You could copper-plate it first and that should give improved conductivity compared to that of the brass body.

I bring you the second version, loosing another 5mm in length!
20 grams less and smaller diameter too.

There will be another version even smaller soon!
The goal is to have a mod just a little bigger than the 18650 battery.
I think as it stands now, it's probably the smallest already but there is space for improvement :D

I'll try a titanium version if I get the chance, just to be the lightest too.

Enjoy the pics:

I've seen your in-place charger in several of your vids, but how can it work without pressing the mod's button/switch?
