Editor’s Note (Sept. 6): This blog was posted before the agenda for the Sept. 11 city council meeting was finalized. The council will now consider an ordinance amendment that prohibits the sale of e-cigarettes to minors and the possession of the devices by minors, but does not restrict where e-cigarettes may be used in public. The original amended ordinance would have prohibited e-cigarettes where tobacco products are already banned. Staff will continue to research provisions related to public use for future consideration.

Do not even try to understand.

Study was funded by CASAA…
Anyway, it was not about nicotine.
Are you denier of nicotine exhalation? Do you believe in everyday miracles?
I see you are very new to ECF and I assume you have not joined CASAA. The Burstyn Report was financed by contributions given by vaping consumers. This report is a consumer funded scientific paper. We as consumers wanted an unbiased scientific report and we now have that.

Very good news. When this was discussed in my office for a ban on smoking on all company property, in company vehicles and on company worksites to be extended to vaping, I made a reply linking to the various studies I was aware of at the time and showed a comparison to the compounds in common aftershaves, deoderants and perfumes. As a result vaping was added to the ban as was a prohibition on excessive use of perfumed toiletries including application of same in the office.

Nice to see one that didn't backfire.
