My use of my e-cigarette

Hi...I am a 6 year user of my e-cigarette. I smoked regular cigarettes for over 50 years, between 2 and 3 packs a day for over 20 years. I was "hooked" on cigarettes and never even wanted to quit them, even though I knew the health risk. My son asked me to try his e-cigarette. It seemed to work, so I purchased one. The first two weeks, I smoked cigarettes at home and my e-cigarette everywhere else. The third week began with me giving away all my cigarettes and I never went back to them. It took me several days to clean my house...I washed all the walls and light fixtures of the brown residue from smoking. By the end of my first month, food tasted like food should taste. I didn't smell like a cigarette and neither did my home or car. This is my first post, and I can tell you more if you want.

Welcome and Congrats.
We are in the clean-up stage now, and it feels like it's going to take us years.

Little bits at a time. Believe me when your sense of smell starts to return is when the pace will pick up. The stuff I couldn't get the smell out of I burned.
Good luck and happy vaping.

:)

Since I am "old school" :) I have been using a DSE901. Just the regular mini-cig. I have tried many other e-cigs and the only one I kept using was the DSE901 and a recent purchase of HALO e-cigarette. I like the Halo, but it uses a lot more e-liquid than the DSE901 :-( so I use it only once in a while. DSE901 are cheap and I have a place online I get them from and I order 5 pks of atomizers from another place online. I guess I can't mention websites. Both sites are cheap...fast to send my products and friendly.

Whatever keeps you off the stinkies is all that matters.

I am a new member, but I did a lot of research on e-cigs before I started them. I love to tell my story to everyone I see still smoking cigarettes. I feel all the "hype" on e-cigs in the news is trash! Or probably worse to come...high prices, taxes etc. I will never buy an e-cig or its products from a tobacco company...they got enough of my money! Best advice...find what works for you. I would be happy to write a story for them...but it would probably be more like a book :)

An excellent idea is to write your story on the CASAA forum. Or, on your local newspaper OP-ED page. But, OP-ED submissions are usually limited in the number of words. So having a "one-pager" and then a half page version is very good.
