So I'm into my third day of vaping now, and I find this analogy pretty much sums up the experience so far.

vaping is like a nice, healthy sandwich (turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, all on lightly toasted whole-wheat bread... mmmmm). When your hungry, it does the trick to fill you up. You get a nice feeling of satisfaction knowing you've made a healthy choice, and that feeling sticks with you throughout the day  It may be a little harder to shop around and buy all the supplies, and it takes time to put the sandwich together, but having a really good sandwich is very satisfying. No two sandwiches are the same, regardless if you THINK you built them the same way, but in the end they all do the trick. That sandwich you made on monday may not have been as great as the one you made on sunday, but maybe the next one will be perfect. :)

Conversely... cigarettes are like a juicy big mac from mcdonalds. You get that extra mouth watering satisfaction from devouring one, and it's easy, hassle-free and tempting to pop into the neighborhood mcdonalds and grab one. Afterwards, you get the sense of guilt for stuffing yourself with the crap, but that is usually overpowered by the endorphins of a tasty meal ;) Its easy to fall into the rut of eating too many big macs, but in the long run you'll start to see it's effects on your body, and can ultimately kill ya.

What does that mean to me? I'll be enjoying my 510 a few times a day like I'd do a sandwich, when I'm "hungry" I'll go fill the cart and have a vape. If I'm out at the bar and get offered a smoke, I'll have a smoke and enjoy it as an unhealthy treat. I think its really cool that vaping gives us this option. Vape on
