Look at the second picture I posted on the bottom of page 1. The left button looks like |] (more flat) and the right button looks like | ) (more rounded). If other people are having the same issue, I guess it's just how they allow it to be assembled. All good I guess

Those are the same buttons, at least looking at the pic. It just means the board is slightly twisted - there are threads about fixing it, but basically you can reach in from the bottom very gently and twist it back into place. Mine will shift if it falls hard, but it has stuck pretty well otherwise:

I don't think the vendors will swap it for that, but you never know.

I see it now. I completely missed it before (didn't zoom in). So.. yeah. Ignore my advice until/unless the board spins.. :)

My Vamo from Vaporbreak that I received at the beginning of March has the two different shaped buttons. Like was described, ones more of a true flat-top, and the other has a more tapered edge.

My other Vamo that I received from Smoktek about 2 weeks earlier, has the same tapered edge buttons for both.

To tell the truth, I never really noticed the difference, until reading this thread. It seems to function just fine, so I don't have any problem with it.

I know why your buttons are different! :) Unfortunately, I found out by breaking my vamo. (It's fixable, so that's something at least..)

The squared-off button is installed upside-down, with the rounded end is against the microswitch. (They are enough of a pain to get out and back that I would just accept it, but that's me..)

If that doesn't make sense I'll see if I can get a pic later, but basically - using more ascii-art - the switches are shaped like:

[=:=)

: is a black line, maybe a gasket, haven't taken one out to check yet.. It should't affect use, although it might wear out the switch slightly faster. (Maybe you only get 95,000 presses instead of 100,000 :))

Well that's interesting, I was actually wondering about that, make them as fast as you can, the heck with quality control.

Did this happen to anyone else? I'm going to contact them as soon as they go online, they hired new CS reps.
Not going to lie, pretty sad right now hahaha

Damn....I have one coming from a different vendor and it should be here in a day or 2...I hope mine doesn't look like that...I hope you can get that taken care of quickly...

Got mine from myvaporstore.com, SS V2. My buttons are identical to each other.

Although I will say my VAMO did not come in a box, just a wrap of bubble wrap, and it's not all SS, lol. The main body and first press fit section are SS. The top cap, extension tube and bottom cap are all chrome, lol. Also the plastic window was loose enough to slide out out of place, which I solved without much hassle. This thing works so well though that stuff doesn't even bother me. Actually I'm kind of glass the lens was loose, I was able to clean out the dust inside it.

I have the same problem with my right button being pushed out more than the left one. Got mine from Quantam Vapor. Looks awkward, but works fine. I tried to pop the top off after watching a video,(bad idea). I scratched the head up so bad from the channel locks going right through the towel I tried to shield it with. Staring at it right now wanting to order another. This one is only a week old though!
