Well, I clearly overdid the VG in this last mix. I'm modifying the receipe to lower the VG. Got tons of vapor but too weak on the throat hit even on the Prodigy. I'm going to have to get some PG to cut this VG nic juice. I thought the Seedmans flavorings had a lot of PG but they must have a lot of water too.

I think the regular strength DOES have too much water to make it practical for our purposes. I was BARELY able to get somewhat of a good viscosity and strength. I did like the VFC flavor enough to order the concentrate...hopefully, it will perform better.

That may be my next purchase. Right now I'm stuck with a harsh flavor or mellow light flavor with no hit. My original virginia mix works just beautifully with my Protege at 3.7 volts. I want to get the same experience with the 5 volt Prodigy. And now I have the new PS PT running at about 4.2 volts according to Steve at PS. It really feels just like the 5 volt Prodigy to me, and Walrus agrees. I should be able to change both mixes to make them work at higher voltages. I may need help.

Dan, I am curious about your tobacco flavored juice, would you sell me some in a zero or low nic, I tried the make it yourself and had no luck. Before I spend more money on stuff, I would like to know it wont go in the trash. PM me if you would do it.

ad2covert I have intensified the throat hit in my ry4 that I cut down to a 6mg and made to weak. Here is what I did. I added one fresh jalapeno pepper seed to about 1.5ml of juice for about an hour. It helped alot, than I removed the seed so it didnt get stronger. That was a just enough hit for me, you could adjust the amount of seeds to your liking. One word of caution, if it gets on your lips it burns, and god forbid you dont wash your hands after touching the seed or the juice and just happen to rub your eye. You will be cryin for a few mins.

Well, it's later this evening and I had a chance to try the VFC concentrate...

Recipe:

40% Unflavored 60mg
40% VG
20% VFC concentrate

meh...not really any tobacco-ish flavor at all and funny flavor at finish, but it did help the viscosity.

HOWEVER...

40% Unflavored 60mg
40% Tasty Vapor Tobacco Doubler
20% VFC concentrate

Much better!

So, in my humble opinion, one could use "this" concentrate to simply change up the flavor of a juice that's already tobacco flavored...KWIM?

a2dcovert, I'm going to PM you in a minute...

I made another batch today. I'm thinking that the concentrate may well just be the way to go. I used 34% VFC and got a really good mix. I'm glad I had some 60mg VG juice to work with because I was able to up the PGA to 15% and get a very good mix for 5v. I need to try it for a couple of days to determine if it really holds up to my expectations.

I prefer to use PG nic juice and add about 20% VG to get some good vapor.

Dan, do you have a recipe book online somewhere I could look at? You seem to know the most about mixing than anyone else I have seen on this forum.

I took some advice from another thread and ordered the following:

1 TOB500 Virginia FC Flavor 2 ounce Spray
1 TOB504 Basic Cigarette Flavor 2 ounce Spray
1 TOB506 Commerical Cigarette Flavor 2 ounce Spray
1 TOB508 English Tobacco Flavor 2 ounce Spray
1 TOB514 Cognac Flavor 2 ounce Spray

Not a big fan of honey or rum, but I do love the taste of Cognac. Is there anything I can do with this list? or am I going to have to order some other flavorings?

Thanks!

Scubabatdans calculator has recipies in it.
That calculator has "almost" everything you will ever need, except the juice itself, LOL.
I actually already downloaded the ejuce_calculatorv3.xls, but I am clueless when it comes to xls files. All I could find on page one was the calculator it's self. Is there a user manual somewhere?
Thanks!

Version 3 ????
He is up to version 8!!!!
Download the new one and on the bottom are like 5 tabs.
Maybe the newer version will work better, and it has pop-up help "bubbles" to help you get through it.

V8?
I grabbed the download link from his signature.
I noticed that my original posts without a signature did not update with my signature when I was finally able to add it. Maybe the link in his signature was an old version. I guess I'll have to look for a newer post with an updated link.
Thanks supertrkre :)

Thought you would like it, hehehe.
Scuba's calculator is a "can't do without" in my book.
That is one smart man.
