The Seedman products appear to contain a lot of sugar. They fall under 'casings', various flavorings added to tobacco. Sugar has been used to mellow tobacco since the late 16th century. Reducing the solution (I've tried) seems to increase the tobacco flavor but I believe it also concentrates the sugars. There is a disagreeable after taste. Sugar may burn well in tobacco, but I believe it's not good for vaping.

I think folks time and energy would be better spent looking for a good, pure tobacco absolute and how that can be used.
Boiled down the Seedman cognac and got a very sugary syrup. Couldn't taste it either when I vaped it. Stay away from that one.

Until I find a better way to produce the Virginia I will stick with the Seedmans. There are sources for tobacco absolute in threads in this forum. Purest Tobacco Absolute may be unattainable unless you want to do it yourself.

You can get close to the real tobacco flavor by getting some Native American Spirit tobacco and soaking it in unflavored PG nic solution. The amount of nicotine extracted is very low, 3 to 4 mg/ml stated by DVap, but the flavor is there.

I was not satisfied with the last mix I made using a base of 60mg VG. So I wanted to try again to see if I could improve on the hit. So here's what I did:

50% 60mg unflavored VG base
40% PGA
10% Seedmans Virginia concentrate

Seems like a simple receipe but that's the way I like them. This juice produces a great throat hit and tons of vapor and about 30mg of nic.

I made another mix using 36mg PG:

60% 36mg unflavored PG base.
20% VG
10% Seedmans virginia concentrate.
10$ PGA

Again a simple easy to produce and modify receipe.

I've found the Virginia concentrate from Seedmans much better than the standard flavor. Not as much water in the concentrate and it makes it easier to get more flavor without diluting the mix.

I must add a note on this receipe. The first one using the 60mg/ml VG base works real well at 5 volts but not at 3.7 volts. It seems to have no throat hit at 3.7 but does great at 5.0. Now the second one using the 36mg VG base is just the opposite. It works great at 3.7 but is too harsh at 5.0. So this is really good news for the high voltage fans. I guess I got lucky on this design on my first attempt. It's hard to get the high voltage juices just right.

Has anyone figured out a use or a recipe for the non-concentrate liquids from seedman's yet?

I have a few bottles in my possession that I can't seem to mix anything with. The liquid is way too thin.

Lesson learned, I will order the concentrate, but it's a shame to see this liquid go to waste.
Read the whole thread.

Please take a look at smokejuicerecipes.com and enter in your recipes for others to enjoy. It's free and there is a star rating for each recipe and a recipe calculator so you can detemine exact Nic, PG/VG and flavoring proportions in ml, drops and % of volume. Enter this information into a recipe so other DIY'ers can repeat a recipe and it's proportions accurately -- very, very important. Also, you can add e-juice flavoring and supply links so others know what's good and what's bad. Please help us make DIY smoke juice recipes available to everyone.

I just want to say thank you for posting this (and I realize that there must be other threads mentioning Seedman's, but this is the only one I have read:p)

I got some of the TOB500 and mixed it in with one of the tobacco flavored juices I have. I do not care for the "green" taste most of the tobacco juices have, and was hoping this would remove/mask/make it all better.

When I opened it up I was so disappointed, because it has a sweet odor and I was not wanting to make a sweet juice (heaven knows I have enough of those), but I mixed some in with one of the juices, let it sit for a few minutes and gave it a try.

It was great! Took the nasty (to me) green taste out, and it wasn't sweet, either. I am very pleased.

Thanks, and Happy New Year!

Glad to hear, since I posted the original seedmans thread, I have tried their concentrates the TOB506 commercial flavor. Since it is a concentrate you can actually mix it stronger and it does not dilute or thin the viscosity as bad as the TOB500 does as they are premixed with water.

Since this is an already active thread discussing Seedmans, I'm posting this question here...

Regarding the TOB506 Commercial Flavor Enhancer, is it normal that it has a sediment at the bottom of the bottle? Any juice I mix with the stuff will also get a sediment on the bottom of the bottle after sitting a while. I've been shaking the Seedmans bottle before mixing, and shaking the finished ejuice bottles before using, but I'm thinking that maybe just leaving the sediment on the bottom might be safer for the atty.

Strangely enough, of the 4 Seedmans bottles I have, the only one that DOESN'T have a "shake well" sticker on it is the TOB506 - which is the only one with visible sediment! LOL I'm guessing that's just an accidental ommision - either that, or that sediment shouldn't really be there.

P.S. Ditto on wishing I had ordered the concentrate instead. Just wished they offered smaller bottles of it.

Has anyone asked them for smaller bottles of the concentrate? Most businesses want to sell what their customers want. They are not a huge monolithic company.

Does anyone resell Seedman's flavors and ship internationally?

Unfortunately they only ship within the US...
Hi Vapolous,
I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I just saw your post and I might be able to help you out.
I have some Seedmans for sale and I'm willing to ship internationally, but I won't be able to do it for free as its very expensive to ship to your country. I could do small flat rate priority though. I have a hold on the Seedmans until the end of the day as someone is supposed to buy it today, but if they don't come through I'll sell them to you if you want them. See the thread here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/classifieds-swaps/122626-lots-items-ejuice-ecigs-more.html Thanks

Have to say seedman has a place in the flavor world.1st it is as smooth as any of the many flavors I have on hand, and that is a lot.
I to had to look long and hard to find that great flavor making me buy from dealer after dealer.I can say that Seedman ,apprentice and flavorart are at the top of my list in strength.Sseedman has the most flavor and strength for the dollor of any thing I have tried.I like my juice strong and find that seedman vapes great at 8.5 to 1 mix.In other words put 8 1/2ml of your base (unflavored Nic and PG or VG making your nic 18,20,24) what ever you like. Then add 1 ml of seedman for flavor,Have funny and Vape on friend.

Could anyone tell me the average amount of days for shipping from Seedmans? I'd like to try some of the TOBS12 Commercial Cigarette Flavor. I know that PA shipping is fast, Seedmans has no indication of how how log it would take on their website. Don't want to wait a week or so.
