Son got a Triton kit with the irridescent batts. Hasn't been used much at all because he got a box mod of some sort that he uses mostly and one of them died a week after the 60 day warranty expired. Some just live longer than others. I don't know if how far you let them run down before charging matters. Mine never get to the blinky stage. As soon as I notice decreased vapor production, I switch out for my other. Mine aren't vv because I am a batt hog and would need 3 or 4 to get me thru the day and can't afford that many.

Angi and Joan, I use it until it blinks dead. Replace with a regular batt until the VV is charged, then put the VV back on to my tank and carry on vaping 'till bed. Pretty much 14 hours a day on that lone, VV.

I think I read it's good for like 300 charges but don't quote me on that. You'd probably need 2 VVs to rotate. It really saved me from waiting on a dead batt, waiting to charge and obviously will last longer for ya, batt wise.

I would think that maybe a slightly shorter life than expected, but not by much if you're a heavy vaper. Do you get a full 14 hours off one charge or do you have to charge it twice for that time?

Charging it before it goes blinky will help extend battery lifetime, any dropping of it could shorten the life, if it's been stored in super hot or cold conditions that could shorten it's lifespan too.

Okay guys and gals, looks like I actually did well considering it's the only VV I have. Thank you for the prompt replies, awesome. I am on Halo's page ordering 4. LOL

Lol! You sound like my wife. She has so many of them it's crazy.

BTW, if you're a dude then sorry, but that post made me think of my wife's stock pile.

Also +1 on the charger.

5 months, 14 hours a day... so you charged it once everyday?

That is about 150 charges. Half of the advertised 300.

I have a G6 or two that only last 75 charges before crapping out. It's always shortly after the warranty has expired, how convenient.

I wonder what percentage of Triton users actually get 300 charges. It's difficult to compile such data.

I use my 1300 while the VV is charging. I'm not even a control freak, but damn is it nice.

HALO: please offer the VV in all colors. kthx.

I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you how long mine takes to discharge, how many times I've charged it, etc. I rotate 4 batteries, depending what I'm in the mood for I might use one battery all day one day, or I might only use that same one for 20 minutes. Also depends on length of draws, if you ever left it in a hot car, etc.

And yes, vv in all colors would be awesome!

Also, who buys brown?

People who like the fact that it looks "like a cigar". :p

Well, partly my fault. I just learned one should NOT drain it to blinking dead before re-charging. That's EXACTLY what I did, everyday, all day, for FIVE MONTHS. OOOPS! LOL

I do that everyday because it's hard to measure how much of a charge is left, with the VV being so consistent... I just know "it's about to die" because it lasts exactly one day... 5 hits later, flashing light.

Going 4 months strong on my midnight blue VV.
