What I mean by lag, is does voltage drop over the life of the battery or does the regulation keep it firing at the same voltage up until you need to charge. The ProVari and MVP 2 are very good as far as putting out their set voltage right up until the battery needs recharging.
You would notice it as a drop in flavor, throat hit, or vapor production as your battery discharged.
I did notice, on my 2.5 Ohm cartotank, that by the time it got to around 3.5V it didn't seem to be firing properly. What it mean is it was gurggling and acting like it was flooding. Replacing the battery with a fully-charged one fixed this problem. Honestly, I should probably just use a 2.0 Ohm carto and I'd be just fine. I think that answers your question. And on my PT2 with a 2.5 Ohm factory atty, it hits like a truck around 4.3 or 4.4V and I really haven't tried it higher than that on that topper.
Thanks for coming back fourthrok, this thread definitely helped convince me that Trixie was going to be my first VV. I'm very happy with it. I'd say Old English would be a fine thing to use to keep it looking nice, as long as it's not the malt liquor you're talking about!
Also, since you're here fourthrok, have you dropped yours many times? Does it seem durable? I'm just curious, mine fell out of my shirt pocket when I leaned over to pick something up and I almost died, but it seems ok.
