This weekend I'm going on a mission to Home Depot to find replacement tubing and o rings for Ce2 clearomizers. I plan on bringing a few clearos with me for sizing and so on but was wondering if anyone knew what internal diameter of the tube is? I currently use 510 XL clearos. I should probably invest in calipers for future ventures and I'm sure won of the workers there will have some but I'd kinda like to know a little more going in then i already do. I also have decided on two materials to try as well polycarbonate like the map tanks, and low density polyethylene like the juice bottles. If anyone knows of something else i should be looking for please let me know I'm no chemistry major but i figure those materials are safe since they are in common use now.

The clearos for my 808 measure 8.7mm ID and 9.1mm OD. I believe GotVapes sells replacement tubes, and iirc, they say one size fits both 808 and 510, but you'd better check that because my memory isn't what it once was.

I wish you luck, but I've scoured Lowe's several times and never found anything remotely usable except some soft tubing that seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth.

On the chemistry front, I personally wouldn't use polycarbonate or HDPE. The best, imo, is polypropylene. (That's what BD syringes are made of.)

I found a website that sells .375 in polycarbonate tube which is a little bigger than the dimensions you gave when converted to inches but i think with some bigger o rings than the silicone ones that come on the ce2 now it would probably work. I saw the replacement tubes at gotvapes but you can only buy one 5 pack at a time and i dont think they have enough products i would want to warrant more than one purchase in the near future. I figured polycarbonate would be a good choice because they are using it in map tanks and I haven't heard anything bad about them chemistry wise, but i will look for polypropylene too, I like options.

UPDATE: so home depot was a total bust just as Fantwriter predicted. If i had more time to play around i would buy some supplies online to try but I don't. So i ended up just buying a pack of fluxs and replacement tubes from gotvapes and they announced the release of the CE3 in the next couple weeks so I won't be beating this dead horse until then. I'll just have to deal with some cracks until then. Thank you all for your input it was, as always, greatly appreciated!

Check you local drug store for some 3mL BD syringes, they would at least hold you over till the C3 is available, or better yet until it has been reviewed and reported on here in ECF. :)

Can't tell you how many carts I had full of ego tanks, smart carts, vortex, giantmizors, etc and didn't pull the trigger, saved some cash. The C3 sound promising and I'm hopeful, meantime my modded C2s, dual coils and variety of attys will suffice.

My order is placed so the damage has been done lol. Between the taped up original tubes I have and the ones I've ordered today I should be fine until the 3s come out. I will most definitely be one of the reviewers. This is the first time since i started vaping that i get to try something new when it came out since i'm still kind of a rookie.

I've read/heard about people using shrink-wrap to seal tubes until they can get replaced.

If you decide to risk another foray, see if there's an industrial supply house near you (the kind of place that sells drill bits, reamers, etc. to factories). One that's been in business for 50+ years in the same location usually has tons of stuff that can be adapted far beyond their original uses. They should also be a supply for o-rings and seals of all sizes in a wide variety of materials.
