Is the nova a good set up? i use carto tanks and enjoy them. the juice she uses only comes premixed from a local vendor in a 80/20 or 70/30 mix i think. she used to smoke marb menthol lights.

I LOVE my Vision (brand) Mini Vivi Nova- ohms choices are 1.8, 2.4 or 2.8 ohms. If you do buy make sure you get the genuine Vision brand. Knockoffs have been problematic.
What ohms cartos is she presently using?

Some of you guys make it sound like you expect your ladies to jump on the vaping bandwagon with you, exhibiting the same passion, just because you feel it. I may be reading more into a few comments than I should, but I caution all of us here to not become the rabid-anti-smokers we've had to deal with. Worry about learning your own way first. If & when she's ready, you'll be there to help.

She is not happy with the pull or drag the system has and hardly any vapor production.
I found using clearos that they gave a tight draw so I switched and have been using them for 5+ months. Easy to clean, cheap to buy (heads= $2.00) and easy to change (10 secs). My heads are lasting 8+ weeks and still firing great but the wick begins to shred.

Give 1.7ohm Smok Tech cartos a try. They are often referred to as Resurrectors or Rejuvenators. She'll get a much more consistent vape and they are hassle-free. They perform well at eGo voltage.
Yes. These work great for me. Tried those clearomizers. Back to the 1.7 ohm cartomizers. Better flavor. Better throat hit. Non fiddly. No leaking.

I wouldnt recommend them with high VG juices. Its been my experience that they mute the flavor of my juices which are all 10/90 pg/vg or higher.

I second the Smoktech 1.7 cartos.

There are a lot of pre-filled cartomizers out there, so that might be something to try. While they can be refilled, you can also just pop another prefill on there and not have to worry about the maintenance or mess. That might not be cost effective though....

Or get a pack of cartos and pre-fill them for her so she has them ready to just pop on and off as needed.

Vivi Nano. It's about the same form factor as a carto, but more like a tiny carto tank. Bottom coil. Clear tube, easy to see how much is in, and really easy to fill - unscrew the (proprietary) drip tip, fill, replace tip.

Works great on 510 batts, so should also be good on her bigger one.

Yes, that can get expensive. What I do is condom fill 10 cartos at a time and just throw them in a case so they're ready to go whenever/where ever... no bottle carrying. I buy the 5 boxes mix-n-match empty Boge 2.0s for $23.00. I think my method is probably only good when using some PG in the juice as it stays fresh and imagine that's the case with prefilled also. I wouldn't fill way ahead of needs if using 100% VG... but maybe that's just me. Each of my cartos lasts over a month so its a consideration.

PS: If I've used them all up on a loooong outing then I just refill enmass the same way. Also, remember that using clearos and clear tanks is pretty juice dependent. I don't worry about what juices I use because they aren't gonna crack or melt my carto.

What did she hate about clearomizers?

Is she trying to quit smoking?
Is she not happy with the lack of vapor or the lack of throat hit? The two are not the same.

I use an eGo battery, a Stardust type clearomizer and menthol juice.
I get lots of vapor but the throat hit is lacking so I am trying a lower resistance clearo.

Wife's not happy?????? You find this unusual how????;):glare: My wife called me an "idiot" for purchasing an Ego C kit...not that it is unusual....calling me an idiot...not the kit purchase. When she started to see I wasn't on the back porch in the freezing cold and snow and rain and all kinds of nasty weather....it started to bother her. When she noticed me happily vaping away.....it really got to her. Finally she said "Do you want to set one of those for me?".....No I don't want to do that....Do YOU want me to set you one up?...."ALRIGHT..will you set me one up? ....Absolutely. Let her find her own path....do anything that she asks you to do, but allow her to find her way. Instead of semi controlling her path. Even it it's still analogs. You have other priorities...live finding your ADV......important stuff. (May I suggest Copper Creeks House Blend wicked pissah). Just do your thing and find your favorites....in the end it will be what you want to do.....help her. Take it from me..."the idiot".

Some great suggestions here. Everyone takes their own time and they need to find something that works for em. Me I kept researching and buying all these systems and then asking hubby what do you think? In the end I am grateful cause I learned so much and have a great vaping experience. But in the end if he isn't ready, he isn't ready.

I do most of the maintenance on our gear just cause I am nimble like that. He installed the car stereo and the sound systems. Takes me 6 months to figure out how to turn on the TV. But I build the computers and I like putting together furniture. He tries not to laugh at me when I ask for the 1000th time how to switch from blu ray mode back to cable and I change out his cartos from his tanks.

I have the opposite "problem" believe it or not.
The hubby does not like to mess with anything either.

Now, we both started with the cigalikes. He hated it. I wanted something more.... vapor/taste/throat hit, and started doing the research.

Moved up to eGos, then VV and various things until I got to rebuildables.

I personally, and this is just me, have never had much luck or like with cartos, clearomizers, vivi's etc.
My best vape has been with mechanicals and mesh rebuildables.

The hubby, I tried cartos, cartos and tanks. He killed them within 2 days tops.
Tried cartos/tanks on a ProVari. He killed them within 2 days, and I don't know what he was doing with the button, but was constantly turning the "power" up or down. I guess he would "double click" the button.

The eGo tanks would burn on him. Same with me, and the clearos and vivi's.

Both of you may be too new to vaping to want to deal with mesh rebuildables, but you may want to do some reading on them and think about them.
Once you have them set up right, the same set up can last for months with just juice refills.

In the meantime, there are bottom coil vivi/clearomizer types out there that may work better for you.
I had better luck with brand name rather just "any" clearomizer.
