Nail Polish and Ethyl Alcohol

Clear nail polish will chip away when using ethyl alcohol to flush syringes. Fortunately, I discovered this quickly and only had to trash 2 mixes.

Big duh moment. EA is a solvent.

I haven't covered my syringes with anything, so far so good the numbers aren't rubbing off. Maybe a big piece of clear tape instead?

I use tape but had considered moving on to the nail polish when I got syringes next. I may resist that a while.

Yeah I've been pretty careful with my syringes so far but really need to get some clear nail polish to keep them nice! I don't get nic juice on the outside or anything like that, and just rinse well with hot water.. seems to work good so far.

I'm back to the tape. I don't mind the tape, but those little 1ml syringes have little bitty markings and i wanted to maintain a clear surface. No way though- they are used with flavors and they get flushed a lot.

Thought I'd put the word out. vaping nail polish kinda diminishes the harm reduction theory.
