hi, guys , i took some photos of my newly bought LG HG2 chocolates and i am confused if they are real or fake, there is no info in web about authenticity of 18650 batteries at all, people make video or blogs with some kind of sh*t , trying to show them educated but nonsense as long as anybody who really works in lg chem and knows how to define real of fake Akku. also take a look at naked batteries in photos , i tried to shot every detail and after rewrapped charged and put to stay in box for further real info from battery producers. i bought them by the way from amazon and used one week.
they have all real signs as i could learn from web even some code like I11411 or etc.
top cap is also not to low, borders are good, vent hole is burned as you will see in fotos.

No idea but the information under the wrap is almost identical to mine just obviously different batch numbers

You can improve your chances of getting an authentic battery by buying from a reputable vendor. Amazon is awash with fakes. Unfortunately there is no definitive way of identifying counterfeits, what makes you think they are?

i am just a little bit paranoiac since saw explosions and tired of learning physics and always calculate ohms , volts, OMG i did not even like that at the school, but now after self education know more about voltage, ohms, resistors, watts )
the thing that i really cant understand, why to fake batteries. i have seen batteries that were torned from users and they found little battery inside 18650's like russian matroshka. isnt there anyway to prevent venting or fire , we are now in 2016 from 0, btw.
