I realize I am probably late to the discussion in this but....today, on day 622 of not smoking I tried googling to find my faforite brand of mod and found absolutely nothing vape related at all. These over blown knee-jerk bans around all thing vape with no good science to back it up will cost way more lives when people have no choice but to quit (when they couldn't before) or go back to the death merchant products available everywhere.

I stopped using google search months ago and will never look back. I still have a gmail account which I use for specific things (eg Youtube), but mostly use Protonmail these days.
I just searched my favorite mod and a whole bunch of vape shops selling it is what popped up. Geekvape Solo kit if you're wondering.
What state are you in? Wonder if that matters?
What mod are you searching for? Are they still in production/buisness?
States lack any ability to alter what you see online or track your behavior (without say a warrant to access your search history for a criminal investigation with reasonable cause to believe you are or have committed a criminal act).
Startpage is another good private search. Google will track the heck out of you, but they generally won't manipulate search results that result in local ads.
You are being tracked and monitored and potentially manipulated, who has access to this data is unknown.
eventually Google will restrict info given to you due to the vast history it accumilated on you over the years...

I've been using google for the past month or so checking out the best deals on vaping hardware, especially looking for deals on older discontinued products on clearance. I have had no issues.... tons of results.
I've had absolutely no problems finding vape related things using Google either. There's been no change at all in the type nor amount of results my searches pull up.
I believe @JCinFLA but then she's a nice person who like, just finds deals. I have considered duck duck go but I think google gets weird with you on the political stuff, actually. The husband and I did some comparative google searching and mine was a lot less weird. To be fair, I also think it may be adaptive to a degree and just give you what you want. Or not.

I'm not even getting INTO Kianu. He was the one dark spot in the Matrix Movies, instead of being called "The One" he should have been called, "The doofus."

Personally I have never used Google. I used Yahoo since before Google existed and still do. Although Yahoo isn't much better in terms of tracking searches, but I do take a lot of preventative measures to restrict and obfuscate what they can track about me.
@Don29palms I am not sure how you can disagree with a statement of fact about what I personally do, but I'll bite. What exactly did you disagree with?
Thanks for the responses. I was using the shopping filter and that's where I found squat when historically there were more hits than I could chase. I checked googles terms of service (or whatever they call it) and found that vaping is now lumped in with 'dangerous products or services".
