I got the blu .. and the message.. and felt cheated... I bought the 510... if you read and read... the 510 is about the top rated...

for me I ordered from cignot.com the 510 kit costs 35 and is all you need to start... OK truth be told I ordered more stuff for the 510 all over the place.. but cignot.com has the best price of anyone.. if you dont want the box :)

Hi everyone! My name is Cade Cannon, I live in Los Angeles and have been smoking analogs for 22 years (and trying to quit for almost that long lol). I'm extremely excited even though I am extremely unsatisfied with my first purchase, the BLU, because I sense this could really help me quit analogs if I got the right kind for me!
Ok, first of all, I've been vaping for less than a week now with the Blu e-cigs and I got excited cuz I ordered the kit on a Wed night and received it THAT sat. morning!!! And here I had resigned myself to a wait time of 6-8 weeks. Of course, now the thing with the bad charge pack and they say the new packs won't be ready for at least 4-6 weeks!!! They never sound too apologetic either, but I definitely think Blu customers should get a freebie of some sort or a big discount... *sigh*
Anyway, for that past 6 weeks I've been doing so much research on which e-cigs are the best because my parents are giving me a certain amount of $ since my b-day is coming up on Nov. 1st, but I can only use the $ on e-cig kits. So, I finally got it down to 5 and I really, REALLY need the advice of all of you on this forum as to wich you think are best!
1. The Dragon 401 from True Smoker (manual or auto?)
2. Green Smoke (most expensive but I've heard they're vapor monsters)
3. The Side Sho from Modern Vapor Does anyone know what model number this is? i.e. 401, 510, or??? (Wonder what Blu thinks of their PCC? hehe.
4. The Vapor King Ultimate Ultimatum Kit (is this a KR808d-1 or something like that? It's the ones with V4L all over the batts) Never thought the day would come where I can match my PVs with my purse, LOL.
5.TECC 510 Titan Platinum Kit from TECC.

So, please! I'd appreciate any and all input because I'm just cross-eyed and spinning in circles. It seems that the more "research" I do, the more confused I get!
P.S. Does anyone know if the Blu batts fit any other kind of atty or cartridge? I'm almost possible that I read in this forum somewhere that the Blu model is just another 401 or something and that there are attys and carts that will fit it. It would be more cost effective if I had a few models with interchangeable parts. And hey! How will I know if there are any replies to my post? Thanks in advance for your help!

This is my experience only, and I have only been vaping for about 3 weeks, so take that into consideration. :)

First, are you going to mind some tinkering with your ecig, or are you looking for something that's more "plug-and-play"? The first one I had was the 510. I did not like it because, for me, there was a bit of a learning curve, and I didn't like all the fiddling I had to do with it --topping off, dripping on the atomizer, wiping off leaking carts, dealing with flooded atomizers etc., in order to get good flavor and a decent throat hit. The throat hit was KEY for me, and I had to spend too much time on it to get that. BUT, I was also very new to vaping in general, and that didn't help. Then I got the Vapor King. I really do love it. Not too much of a learning curve, and it's very easy to use. Just screw on a fresh cartomizer, make sure your battery is charged, and you're good to go for awhile. It's better suited for me than the 510 was.

As for the other models you are wondering about, I have no experience with them, so I can't comment on those. Hope this helps a bit! :)

I second that, Terri and Vickie are among the best!

Save your money for juice and get a bunch of sample sizes along with the kit. Try a variety to see what you like best. Get some blank cartridges too.

I third it, get yourself one of those 510's and a USB passthrough from puresmoker.com and some high voltage juice samples from nhaler.

Totally Wicked USA has the Mega Power 510 batteries on sale right now (the 5 pack is a deal). Last about 4 hours vs. the 1 to 1-1/2 hour of a regular 510 bat. Sale ends today I think, so hurry.

If you want to end battery frustration forever, I suggest a 3.7v battery mod. Yup... get a Chuck or Little Chuck. I'm loving mine. Lowest price mod on the market (and custom graphics/finishes so yours will be unique only to you). I run the Little Chuck for about 7 hours and can go 2 days on the Chuck.

PS passthrough at 5v is pretty great, but the higher voltage has caused some people problems with atty loss and others report a consistent harsh vape. My first one had both issues and I returned it (they messed with it and sent it back with a new adapter). Once I quit dripping with it, I haven't lost an atty since (I suspect it is a resistance problem when the adapter gets e-liquid on it, so I keep the adapter cleaned and dry and haven't lost an atty in well over a month). I now have 3 of them (upstairs, downstairs and one in the car).

All of the above are the best things I've bought all year.

PureSmoker.com.... Don't waste your time and money on the cheap e-cigs. I wish I would have just got the Prodigy first before wasting my cash on every other model on the market.

You can get a real nice starter set for $140.00 that will last you a hundred times longer than any other model out there. They just started a new model that you can pick up for under a hundred called the Protege. That is a real nice model as well... Go for the 510 model and you will be real happy... Take my word for it and get the best and don't waste your time or your parents money on the rest.... You will be happy you did...

If you want great customer service, a fantastic product, and a group who supports them to the end, Then I suggest the Vapor King from Vapor 4 Life. Just visit the forum and read all you need to know, you will have no need of any other PV. But this is just my opinion. I have a 510 and 801 and my VK. The 510 and 801 are used as dust collection devices now.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/

I second this. I have started using the VK after 10 weeks with my 510. I loved the 510 and it got me off the analogs, but the VK is just plain easier to deal with. The batteries last longer, no topping off, no cart mods, no carrying juice, tweezers, extra atomizers etc. around where ever you go. The VK rivals the 510 in vapor production especially on the passthrough or with the manual battery and the flavor seems to be a lot better.

I'm fairly new, but if you want to go with a 2 piece solution, the VaporKing (or any KR808d-1) coupled with GreenCig cartridges seems to be the way to go. Cheaper cartomizers have a tendency to burn the filler material, as I've experienced with my Red Dragon, which is the same thing as smoke 51, e-cig.com e9, greensmoke, and some other brands. e-cig.com is the distributor in China, the others are just rebrands. They don't last as long as advertised in either battery life or cartridge life (puffs). GreenCig cartridges are built differently, won't burn, and can be refilled with a little effort.
