I have the EgoT and think it's a great choice. I would make the suggestion to get some cartomizers to go on the Ego battery as well; cartos don't (IMHO) taste as good as the tank, but there's no leakage risk; they are easier to transport and deal with, which makes them more convienent for me when I'm out in public places (and don't feel like using the tank setup). Others will disagree, but I think a KR808 makes a great addition to the EgoT, it's small, doesn't have any leak potential, and it's cheap. Just get some cartos and carry that around (in a PCC - personal charger case) for your "on the road" vaping.

For flavor, I find the EgoT to be really top notch, it's a great choice!

Thanks for the links Kent and S&S, and discount info. Have checked out the supplier forums, info overload... LOL Will have to take some time to do that, especially in finding some with good pricing/shipping. Only prob having to pretty much get everything online is that the shipping can kill you even when find great prices.

Dan, that's one of the things I was thinking with the ego-t, that there are so many compatible parts if I have a problem or don't care for it. Really opens up the variations for me.

Dan and others have pointed this out - the options once you go with the eGo. One thing you may or may not know is that the eGo battery sold with the eGo-t kit has an on/off option. That may be a consideration on what to start with. Most ecigs without that will eventually go off in your pocket - some roll over on them in bed :-| So just so you know.

Hi Kent,
I have to say, I never went to bed with my ecig. lol and I have never had one fire on me without pressing the button. Maybe they have been improved since you tried them??? Just a thought.

All of the above is good advice. I just wanted to stress getting a few cartomizers (510). They make an excellent backup in case you have trouble with the tank atty. Also, you've probably already seen that as you smoke less (analogs), your tastes will probably change, so I'd suggest some samplers, then as soon as you find one you like, get a bottle or two of it, but continue to try out samples.

The nicotine level you'll like is an unknown at this point too, so try to get several different strengths to try.

And I, too, highly recommend the LR atty for the tank, much better flavor IMHO

(and welcome to ECF :) )

LOL... yeah, don't think I'll be going to bed with mine either :)

Kent, I do like that feature tho. I have dogs and cats who have a tendency to knock things off tables so wouldn't want it to get popped on accidentally. Love my babies but they can be as bad as little kids!

Puma, will have to look into that. One of the things that drew me to the ego-t in the first place was the absolute ease of filling the tanks as compared to the carts or cartos but I may get some different accessories just to try them out.

ancient puffer, yes, I agree, best to have something to back up with in case I run into problems. As for juice, def looking to get some samplers from different vendors to find out what I like and what works for me. Prob will also get at least one LR atty to try and compare. Besides, always good to have extra.

And thanks for the welcome! Even before I first posted I saw how wonderful and welcoming and helpful the members here are. :D

Not sure what you mean with 'maybe they have been improved since you tried them' - I have eGo and eGo-t batts and the eGo-t has an on/off feature whereas the eGo doesn't. There have been a few people that put the eGo in their jeans pocket, eg. and have had them turn on. That's what I meant...

I know. I was just having some light hearted humor. Please don't take offense.
Peace.

If anyone wants an e-liquid vendor recommendation, I think Gourmet Vapor is a great company. They will let you custom blend liquids for great prices and when I got one I didn't like they replaced it. P.S. I have a 20% off coupon for new orders PM me or email me if anyone wants the code. I can't post it since it's an email address and nobody likes spam ;)

My two cents -- I dont know much about the Janty and Ego T being USA "approved" retailers (so far in MY studies NJoy is a registered retailer with qualifications), so I can't say.

I also cant say much about your vaping requirement and how much "smoke" you expect to inhale and see pluming out of your mouth...

But I can say this: Start small and see how it works out for you, then take it from there. I know it doesnt sound very feasible or pormising, but considering the risks still apparent with the device (nicotine dose, long term effects of PG and VG usage, etc) it never hurts to err on the side of caution. Choosing a more reliable retailer is a good start (especially if they went throgh all the trouble to register with the FDA and other Health organizations). Just use your best judgement.

I'm only advising you based on my opinions and research (which most of I've gotten through this site, thanks guys!). I dont wanna be a downer on the subject, but nobody (and I mean NOBODY) can or should tell you what is in your best interests - especially when it comes to your own body. Just be careful and Good Luck to you! I hope this proves a healthier alternative to actual smoking.

Just remember, it MAY be 1000 times safer than real cigarettes, but you, nor I , nor anybody else can predict what THIS new device is going to do to you...Just make sure when you decide it, you also BELIEVE IT. You gotta play your own scientist in a way...so, just be careful, is all I'm saying.

Thanks syderial, I'll have to find their site and check them out :)

Lunger, from everything that I've read, numerous studies and info noted throughout the forum, there's been no indication of any serious problems. Aside from that, when you compare it to "cancer sticks" it's hard to find a downside. I agree about starting small but I def want something that I am not going to feel the need to upgrade after a week or two or something that actually discourages me because it is too annoying to deal with, ie. constantly having to refill, dripping, charging batts, etc.

Have watched numerous vids on the ego-t and, for me, it seems like it would work well and there has been so much positive feedback here. Appreciate your comment, always good to take everything possible into consideration. :)
