Nautilus mini 1st problem

Hi i seem to have got a problem with my nauti mini as am currently running it at 7.0 watts usually have it on 8 or 9 but soon as i turn it up i get taste of burning any advice on how to solve this, it does have new coil 1 day old in and was wicked up correctly as always ?

As a new coil it may be getting over heated ? Try stepping it down a little till it breaks in ?
