1st nautilus not to happy

After all this talk, talk, talk - I thought "maybe I was wrong?".
Took the Naut out and filled it.
After 10 minutes the darn thing still hadn't primed.
Emptied the tank.
Put it back in the "junk" bag.

Back to my Vision Vivi Nova's.






As Rube Goldberg found out the hard way - the simplest devices are usually the ones that work best.

My local B&M told me to take 5 long draws to the count of 10 without pushing the button and with the air set to the second hole rather than just giving it time to prime. It's worked great for me following their advice.

I wish they made higher resistance coils for it. I'm using the 1.8 now and after 12 hours with this coil, it's starting to get a burnt taste. I've only got my Provari set to 3.8V. I usually run it at 5V with my other tanks.

Maybe I wasn't clear. The regular nautilus with BVC is working fin for me but the mini wouldn constantly flood.

There is a learning curve as far as tightening is concerned. I have found it is best to have the coil screwed more to the base than the post. Fill almost up to end of post, screw on coil + bottom, flip, and done. Leaking can only really be caused by tightening issues, so make sure each piece is firm but not over tight.

I had similar problems with the K1 and ET-S with the new BVC coils. Last time I changed out, I noticed that juice was leaking out of the base, so I took a close look at the coil from the bottom, and I had seriously overtightened it. I could see the gasket all crumpled up and out of whack.

Switched to a new coil, threaded it carefully and tightened only to finger tight, and both tanks have been working like champs ever since.

Don't know if that will apply to the Nautilus, but thought I'd throw it out there.
