Nautilus Mini IS NOT that good at the end!!!!

Hey everyone!

After watching all the glowing reviews for Nautilus Mini, I purchased some of them in hope to finally have a clearomizer that WORKS!

Log story short - first, pre-installed coil started to taste burnt after 2 re-fills.

Changed coil, works ok now.

Another one I just filled and it gurgles from first minutes. juice in mouth etc.

Another one (I have 4 of them) worked ok for 2 days and has now started to gurgle...

I'm vaping a 50/50 juice on Provari and MVP2

So - it seems that they haven't got it 100% fool-proof at the end...

I start to think that reviewers received specially built, highest quality coils and we now start to receive something else...

Aspire has new coils out now. You may have gotten the old ones that were prepacked in the box. Buy some and ask for the new vertical coil style. I just picked up a couple at my local B&M to try.

They are NEW - BVC coils.

Before purchasing them, I spent days on researching

I haven't used the mini yet myself, but I'm using the BVCs in the original Nautilus.
I can see how flooding could be an issue what with more wicking material absorbing more liquid.
If it starts gurgling on me, I open the airholes all the way, and crank the voltage up some.
Dry hitting, I do the opposite.
Also, make sure the coil is seated properly, too loose, it'll flood, too tight, it won't wick properly and you'll get dry hits.
I haven't really had any other problems. Been using my first BVC for about a week straight now at around 5.0-5.5 volts.
Oh yeah, be sure to check your resistance. I found inconsistencies between the coils, even two coils from the same package.

Weird, I've been using the 2 that came in the box non stop, even lung hitting a lot of times. Zero flooding, zero dry hits. Vaping at around 12-13watts and 16watts when lung hitting.

That's very weird, are you like, not pulling enough so there's not enough air going through the coil?

Could just be a bad coil or quality control. This was an issue before, with inconsistent coils. You get some good ones and some bunk ones. Things like this slightly turn me off from the bvc coils and the mini, at least with my Kayfun I can just redo it if I don't have spare coils.

I bought a regular sized Nautilus and a pack of 5 BVC 1.6 ohm coils. Tried one and same experience with the Mini, massive vapor and bags and bags of flavor, haven't had one single issue so far. *knocks on wood*

I'm going on day 4 with my first BVC coil in a full sized nautilus. The only time I have had even any minor problems with gurgling is when the tank was just about empty (and it stopped as soon as I refilled). I am using an e-liquid that's heavier on VG so maybe that's part of it. I'm not at a place where I want to commit to rebuilding so I'm hoping these BVCs stay working consistently. Best I've had yet

could it be that I'm vaping on too low volts? Too much liquid comes in?

I'm vaping at 4.5 volts and it feels enough for me vapour wise...
