hey guys.. im relatively new to vaping (1 month now) but ive seen alot of videos and i understood the basic concept..

so far i was very happy with my nautilus mini with 30w istick combo..i was not really interested in sub-ohming as i highly prefer mouth to lung hits instead of direct lung inhale.. however i wanted to get into rebuilding just for the fun of it :p and the subtank mini looked like a nice start for this..

now here is the problem.. with direct lung hits i produce lots of vapour.. this was to be expected..
however with mouth to lung hits i get alot less vapour compared to my nautilus mini ! also the throat hit is very different.. much less pleasant and more like im burning my lung instead of a nice hit in the throat ^^

i tried both occ coils (0.5 and 1.2 ohm) and the RDA with 0.5 ohm.. i tried Wattage from 10-30.. i tried all the airholes.. its always the same.. with my nautilus i get a nice dense vape when i mouth to lung hit.. with the subtank its alot less dense.. cloud size is not much different tho..

i know subtank is mainly for lung hitting cloud chasers ^^ but shouldnt it be able to produce atleast the same amount of vape as my nautilus ???

thanks for responses

Even the 1.2 ohm coils aren't really optimized for mouth to lung hits. In your RBA, try building a 1.5 ohm build. Thatshould help. Incidentally, Kanger is (quite soon) about to release the new vertical coils for the subtanks. Among them is a 1.5 ohm coil with restricted wicking and air flow. Should be perfect.
