Out of nowhere my nautilus mini has an issue. No matter which juice I put in, there's no taste anymore.

So I switched out the coil, turns out I didn't even need a new one. Same thing with new coil. Did all the vapers tongue stuff, wasn't that. Still tastes like nothing.

I can taste things on all my other clearos/attys. Makes no sense to me. How can I fix this, has anyone else experienced this?

I get vapers tongue but not a situation so far where one tank doesn't deliver flavor. Have you tried soaking the whole thing in vodka? (And letting it dry out before using again.)

ETA: I switched to the much cheaper GS Air tanks. If anything goes very wrong with one of those, I can just dump it because I didn't spend so much on it. They're between $7 and $9 most places. And if that seems wasteful, it's not as if I don't use it for several weeks or months before tossing it... if I do. So far I haven't thrown away any hardware. It's still less wasteful than smoking where everything gets burnt up.

ETA: Again :D evape.us has the eleaf GS Air tanks for about $8 and change. A pack of coils is $10 or $11.

What mod are you using to power the Nautilus Mini? How old is it? Does it have a replaceable battery? It is possible that the battery might be too weak to power the coil and put out good flavorful vapor. This would be the first thing I would look at. Try taking your tank to a store and trying it on another mod, or put it on a friend's mod to test this theory. At a store, they might have a meter to test the output of your mod to see if it is firing up to snuff.

Just tried it on everything I have, maybe a 1 on a flavour scale of 1-10, on everything. I can't really taste anything. Tiny hint of aftertaste, hard to even notice though. Should I soak it in vodka? I've only ever rinsed in warm water, never tried using vodka before.

I used mine at about 5v if I remember correctly.

I was thinking about why it would change. Contacts can get corroded. I would check the base, where the coil head makes contact with it. Possibly clean it with a pencil eraser, same for the center pin of the coil head and for the 510 connector.

Cleaned everything, everything was a little dirty. Didn't notice a change in flavour though, afterwards.

I'd soak it in vodka. My GS Air tank that I just soaked in vodka a few days ago is like new! :D
Yeah Id give this a go and drink the rest, win win, if it doesn't work, you'll be too drunk to care.

In my experience the Nautilus BVC will lose flavor after a few days of heavy use and no amount of soaking/cleaning recaptures it. You are at 5v and could stand to raise it more. I am at 12.9w and that amounts to 5.3v per my readout so I think you can raise it so the wattage is around 13.5 to 15 and still be in good range. See if that helps more.

But for me when the flavor goes I just use a new coil:D

She already put a new coil in, personally, it's time for an upgrade haha, I used to vape it at 15w too, it's a strange one for sure.

I know but not all coils perform like the next. I should have said try another coil.....I do wonder if the coil is 1.8 or 1.6, if it is the 1.6 the flavor is not as good as the 1.8
Ah OK, get you now and yes, I agree, the 1.6 coils are meh..

I did change the coil, nothing changed. The coil apparently didn't even need to be changed at all because it tasted the same with both the old and new coil. I'll try it on one of

My main squeeze right now is my Aspire Atlantis Mega and CF MAXX mod. I still use my nautilus mini at night with my 8mg liquid though, at least until my replacement stuff arrives tonight. Then I'll probably be using a Kanger subtank mini at night.

Odd that a new coil did not liven up the flavor. I find that new or 'clean' coils can work well enough for me at a mere 6w but as they get gunked up I need to bump the power up to get the same results.

Then there are times where I may 'dry inhale' a few times without firing it (to make sure it is well primed) and then hit it with 10-12W for a few puffs. Afterwards I can then turn it back down to 6w.

I try to rotate a few very different flavors in attempts to keep my pallet fresh. To much of the same flavor tends to grow weaker towards an empty tank.
