After being advised by members of this forum to upgrade my cartomisers to the new nautilus Mini and not go with the Protanks as originally planned. I took heed of their wise words and bought a couple.

Me like... Me like a lot! :)

Better flavour and, with the air holes fully open, I can do lung hits with lots of vapour. Fab! There is, however, one downside... My e-juice is now far too potent with regards to nicotine levels. Oops! Lol

My solution? Nip to Boots and pick up a bottle of Glycerin BP. (I also managed to ponce a 2.5ml syringe from the pharmacist - but don't let on coz its not something they make a habit of doing ;-))

I've mixed 1ml of Glycerin with 1ml of 18mg 60PG/40VG juice to give me 9mg 30PG/70VG, instead. The flavour is somewhat subdued (which is to be expected) but at least it will (hopefully) lessen the palpitations. Lol

Nevermind, the joys of being a newbie! :D

Just got 5 more BVC coils today. Love 'em. :)

Going to order some Aspire CE5 BVCs from Vape Escape.... soon.

Sadly, I ordered a miniPT3 for work (+ 5 coils) the day before Vape Escape started selling the new Aspire. They might last me a week or so... (LOL)

I don't like Kanger much, but I need a faff free clearo for work.

Let us know how you get on with them and how long they last please. I'd advise you to stay away from the BDC, worst things ever invented.

Will do, sir! (on both accounts ;-))

One thing I have noticed is how it can run completely silently (as some others have mentioned in a different thread) but it's only happening in the tank that's running the 30/70 juice. There is definitely more noise with the 60/40 mix. Curious.

Ok, now I'm confused! How is using a clearomiser where you have to change the coils on a daily basis less faff than using one where you only change them weekly (if that)?

I use max VG, and with a chocolate one I use, mine is silent at 7w on the second air hole.

Have you tried the MOW? I have two and like them a lot. I use them with a Spinner ll. I suspect the coil that comes with them (little slot in the sides) is marginally better than the packs of 5 I've had that have two small holes. Perhaps the slot sides are the newest version.

I see there's now a bigger version that's 19mm wide and holds 2.8ml ..saw it on the myEpack site earlier.

I also have the mini Nautilus/BVC and find it very good.

I have two tanks, both using 1.8Ω BVCs and 650mAh bog-standard ego batteries, set to the second smallest air hole. The only difference is the viscosity of the liquid I'm using. In fact, before using the 30/70, I was using 60/40 in the first NM and it made the same sound are the other one currently does.

I was a joke.... I was taking the p*** out of Kanger coils.

I can't say how often I will need to change the coils on the miniPT3. Unknown territory. I wish I had bought the Aspires, but they came into Vape Escape after I ordered the miniPT.

I asked Jason (Vape Escape) at Vapefest if he had a Kanger MOW tank, but he didn't. In the end I went with the miniPT3 instead. It's a sort of experiment really. I've been using handmade coils in mini PT 1 & 2 (yes, even a v.1!) for about a year, but I am so, so bored of rewicking.
It's like the Nature Vape thing. The coils are good, but you've still got to change the wick. When I am at work, if the coil goes bad, I just want to swap over for a new one.

I'll never get into rebuilding any aspect of them!
I think the Genitank looks very similar to the MOW apart from more SS & glass, but they're more expensive ..use the same coils though.
I just ordered another MOW IP Blue tank from MyEPack @ £9.99 and 5 coils for £8. (I put something in an Evod on Wednesday that cracked the top off it!)
Next good Kanger one I have after the MOW is the mPT2 ...my two have been good.

I dont know about how long they last as i tend to use at least 6 tanks/clearos/whatever on rotation and depending on which juice they have got in them some will last longer than others. However, in terms of how much juice the first BVC coil i used in my nautilus lasted about 15 - 20ml and i would have carried on using it but i had run out of that particular juice, and didnt want to carry on with it with another flavour. No leaks, no gurgling, no dry hits and consistent flavour. I've only recently changed the coil and seems consistent with the performance of the first so i would definitely recommend them. As i mentioned in another thread the BVC coils (for me, at least) have transformed the nautilus from something left on the shelf to something i use almost every day.

update...
I changed one coil after six days usage. Mainly because I wanted to change from a cappuccino* flavour to an apple one but I also noticed that the liquid was getting darker than normal. The other coil is still fine but I've been vaping a mojito flavour in it.

*Well, I say cappuccino coz that's what it said on the bottle. In reality, it was more like cheap coffee flavoured "pink wafers" - if you can imagine what that's like. lol.

I'm getting new mod for Xmas and decided I'd try a new tank have settled on the nautilus and was prepared to pay UK price until a friend said they are now selling authentic aspire products on fast tech was bit sceptical but looked and they are there least £5 cheaper then you can get them here. Also they now selling the bvc heads £5 for five only downside is full sized and mini nautilus are same price haven't worked that one out yet lol but anyone wanting to try the tank can now do so a bit cheaper type "aspire" into search :).
