I ordered the BVC coils for my original Nautilus today since they are compatible. ...cant wait to try them out. Ive been rebuilding the BDC coils after only 2-3 days of use - they are crap. I hope the BVC coils live up to their hype. Fingers crossed.

Me too.....Mine will be here Monday!

Ok folks,it's been 24 hours on the mini.still hitting like new.im not saying these are the be all end all but they are sweet.i enjoy building and using my kayfun so too much to switch over full time ,but it is very nice to have something that works this well to use as an equally good vape alternative.at the same time I am using a kayfun with the full glass tank and a custom tip,the weight is perfect on the shark,so it is tough to just run and gun with the new mini, but I love the toys!

AT heart when on ECF I'm a lurker and rarely post but with the BVC that Aspire has released deserves a comment. It's a beauty,Grimm Green's excitement wasn't overblown. For those newish and jumping in, take the leap but don't overbuy replacement heads after you fall in love. Things change fast in vapelandia. As it stands I can't see any need for tweaking and for fiddlers items like the kayfun makes room for that. I don't find the cost of DIY coil wrapping to be a selling/user point but see value in something that works and does the deed,,The Aspire BVD deserves the Wow accolades being attributed to it..

Every time I think Wow this is it,that it couldn't get better something new erases that idea, more often that an IRS hard drive. :)

Got mine in the mail today. Hate to be one of the thousands Grimmgreen quoters... but as a person who used Cartotanks for well over a year before moving to rebuilding (Carto tanks get messy often... heh), it is almost the same exact vape; these things are no joke, love them a lot. There is no question these things produce great flavor and vapor, the real question is how long they last and how many duds come in a box. :D :vapor:

Here's to no duds and the simple solution many of us have searching for!

i got mine today as well.Maybe its just because im used to the regular sized nautilus tank, but i do notice on this new mini tank with the new coils..im going through juice like its going out of style..and im not chain hitting either.Probably 10-20 hits an hour.Maybe thats just cause..like i said..im used to the 5mil tank

Why not just use the BVC coil in the larger tank? I can't wait for my BVC coils, which will arrive Monday.

because what i was trying to do is buy a smaller (in diameter) tank, and possible something like a vaporshark 30 mod..because the combo would be really compact,it would get in my way less while working..considering it would be much smaller and easier to constantly take in and out of my pocket

Makes sense!

my first head i finally threw out today after 9 days of use. it was still going vapor wise, but flavor wasn't what it first was and neither was air flow. felt much more restricted.

anyways, onto the second coil today.

will see if it lasts longer than the first.

before the second coil I tried another head and must have gotten a dud... oh oh. :( it would work for awhile and then came dry hits.. tried primer hits with finger over hole to pull in more juice. was ok for several more hits and then the dry hit again.. took it out. looked ok from what you can see, ran water through it and it is now drying. will try again after a few days.

anyways just thought i would give an update of my experience.. I do not see a big increase in juice consumption as some. new coil is working great so far..

Thanks for the update. With that old coil any chance you can take out the filler and see if it burns with a lighter? I've used readyxwick that is ceramic and it doesnt burn even with a torch. It goes black at first but then turn white as can be like nothing ever happened. Curious if these are the same. If so wouldn't that mean you could dry burn these coils and filler to reuse? Well, the more I think about it pullin them out and putting them back in might not be possible or worth the effort. Sucks to hear about the dud. Hope a theme isnt following here. Waiting for mine to arrive from aspire else I'd be doing it.

I just bought my wife the Mini Nautilus and it's functioning perfectly...I plan on "Stealing" the spare BVC for usage on my full sized Nautilus...Just as a random side note, My two regular heads that came with my nautilus have functioned flawlessly...I changed the 1.6 ohm head out after 9 days of 5ml per day of thick butterscotch and I currently have 7 days on the 1.8 ohm head.. Steady Chuckin' Clouds :vapor:. FWIW mine is a 100% real nautilus with the security code that checked out and all..

Hey guys, I have stayed off the forums for a while. The last 5 out of 6 weeks ive been doing my offshore paramedic thing and have 10 days left. I ordered several boxes of nautilus coils ( the original BDC ) I have had the worst possible vape ever and have been miserable out here. Dry hit after dry hit after dry hit using Deadly sin from good life vapor. Set it to the smallest air hole, primed the wicks, puffs without firing the button... the coils that came with my nautilus and the first batch were a 9 out of 10 vape for me. Every coil since then has sucked. The nautilus started out as my one stop vaping solution... turned out to be a huge dissapointment... I even gave away a tank, but still have 2 left.

I have a kayfun and a nimbus clone. Ive coiled them at 1-1.2 ohms so I can use them on my MVP... building coils is just not for me.

I have the Nautilus mini, 5 of each ohm coil, an aero mini with 10 coils, a used provari with 18650 extention ( 100$ on ebay ) an Itaste VTR ( 35$ on ebay, the ring has been cut off to fit kayfuns and nautilus tanks ), 100mls of deadly sin, and about a half a gallon of assorted juice from steam ( jerry juice anyone ) all waiting for me when I get home....

All I want is a plug and play reliable, amazing vape... 7 days on a coil is fine with me...

I watched Grimm, Todd, Busardo, Indoor vapes... tons of great reviews... a few said the new kanger aero mega/mini edged out the nautilus mini BVC by a hair... so I have that coming as a backup. I really just want to get back to the vaping zen I had with my nautilus and the first few coils... from the reviews I am going to get exactly that... I cant wait!

Help me obi wan vertical coil... youre my only hope!
