Hello all,

got my pegasus Mini with Triton Mini just two days ago. Tried both 1.8 clapton and 1.2 kanthal. No complaints. Today tried 0.15ohm (reads 0.21ohm on device) ni200 temp control coil. Whoah. I could chain vape both kanthal and clapton coils for half an hour. With this temp control coil, I got buzzed after three 2sec hits so hard I had to sit down.

Is this normal? I noticed with this ni200 coil, the drip tip got way hotter that with other coils, also more vapor was produced. I use Snake Oil (40vg/60pg) in 12mg.

Also, this is my first temp control mod and coil ever. I only tried 200C (392F). I am complete noob when it comes to temp control. Any input would be appreaciated! :)

edit: typos
Geesh. Where'd everyone go? I can't answer your questions
1. Don't have those tanks
2. Not interested in tc.
But wanted to say "hi" anyway.

Well, Looks like PB really liked it. Isn't it just another Kabuki clone tho?

Looks nice, but I'll pass on it mostly because of the AF adjustments. I like to be able to make adjustments all day long sometimes. Provape and Zen don't get that.
    Very happy with my Naughty.

Haha, I use 12mg also and get quite buzzed using the Naughty over 9w. I've learned to like the vape tho, so I've adjusted to not chain vaping.

And he hit the nail on the head with regard to price point. Be a cold day in the nether world when I pay 60+ bucks for a Chinese knock off. If they had priced the Ti version at around 16-20 bucks I may have given it a second look.

And your thoughts on the Ti (styled) Kabuki on FT, Senor Dash? ($21.01)

I know I'm splitting hairs, but I will not purchase a "styled" anything unless the authentic is out of production or the clone in question has undergone significant upgrades to the original that make it superior to the authentic. (Examples might include the KV5 Mini or KFL+ 1.5 or a Color not offered by the original manufacturer and that I desire for purposes of "matching")
The exception being for the purposes of testing a high value item prior to purchasing the authentic. I have not nor will I purchase a Kabuki clone as long as they remain available. However, in this particular case the tank appears different enough (to me) that I would not have a real problem purchasing one if the price was right as the tanks look is different and there are some differences in the overall design. I guess I'm basically saying that if I can afford and or obtain an item I will go authentic rather than a 1:1 clone.
That make any sense or no?

I have zero personal experience with this Ti styled "Buki", and I actually also have zero experience with any of the KlownBukis. The ones I own are the genuZen article.

I commented to ask you opinion as you made mention of a Ti version "at around 16-20 bucks I may have given it a second look.". I didn't know if you had given this one a first or second look, and only wondered your thoughts. (Which you have graciously provided, thank you.) :)

Does it make sense? Absto, hon, absto.

I haven't found any of the "klowns" to be really 1:1. A few times there are improvements on the original. "Style" is used loosely. That's why I'm curious about the ti version and the Fantasy which is only $9 at FT. Imo it's more like buying a generic brand over a name brand. Sometimes it pays off and a lot of times it doesn't.

I had an extended love affair with BVC coils, and used them in the Nautilus, Naut Mini, and Anyvape Peakomizer 2 for well over a year. I had multiple of each tanks. But when Aspire changed the coils to all cotton, I started getting some very mixed results.

I think the flavor was better on the new coils, but I had massive spitting, flooding and gurgling problems to the point where I had to stop using all BVC tanks. I think it may have a lot to do with most of my juices being 50/50. I hear good things about that kabuki, but I just can't pull the trigger since I don't trust the coils anymore.

The larger Triton 1.8 coils give great flavor, but it's the same story- spit, flood, gurgle and repeat with 50/50 juice- and Aspire support straight out told me to use higher VG juice with their coils, which is insane to me for a mouth to lung coil.

I'm anxious to hear if these problems get solved with the new coils....but I leave it to you fine people to let me know since I'm not getting back in this scene until I'm sure :) Good thread, thanks h00ligan.
I use 1.8 Aspire Nautilus coils and Find if you over fill your e juice you will get spitting. I always fill half way, and don't have any problems any more. I have a i-stick Pico/Nautilus X

Which coils for the Kabuki clone? The one for Nautilus or the one for Nautilus mini?

There is only one Nautilus coil commonly referred to as the Aspire Nautilus Coil. I have Kabukis but they are not the clones however assume they would work in the clone. Maybe someone else that is using a clone can chime in.

There is another Aspire coil referred to as the Aspire BVC Coils. You do not want these as they do not fit the Kabuki and are meant for a different tank.

The aspire nautilus coils are also called Nautilus BVCs sometimes on sites and the other aspire BVCs are usually stated for K2 etc. in the ad. Just make sure it says " Nautilus" on the box picture or in the ad if you want Nautilus coils. BVC is just a generic term for bottom vertical coil.

You're talking about Nautilus X coils spitting right? The regular 1.8 ohm nautilus coils won't fit in the Nautilus X will they?

Ok, so I won't lie, I've been MIA from the forum for A WHILE now! I found a vape family that helped me along the way but everyone 'grew up' but me! As this is a really long thread, I didn't read it all, but I'm hoping someone who has, or just someone 'like me', will help me without being upset if it has already been said.

I LOVE my nautilus coils, so far they're the ONLY coils I've gotten really good flavors out of (and I've tried MANY), all my vape family moved on to building or subohming and I just can't do that, my chest kills me when I try to subohm and with a broken spine (well fractured in 4 places) I don't want to mess with building! My issue is with this tank! I've tried a lot of top fill tanks and I don't want to go back to the Nautilus' bottom fill bs, but I like the flavor I get with the Nautilus coils. I've tried the Triton 2 and the Triton Mini, even the mini with a Naut coil, but I'm not getting the flavor I get out of my Nauts (which I am temporarily using again until I find a better solution). I have the Nautilus X as well and I don't get much out of it either, less so than the Triton 2 or Mini. I've tried the Cubis Pro (which I've been using most until I decided to go back to the Nauts and wait for something better) and I LOVE the way this functions, it's SO easy to use and no mess whatsoever, BUT I only get a couple of really good days out of the coil before the flavor starts to fade and I don't love how hot it gets. I haven't really given my Tritons a fair shot I'm sure, but the Mini falls apart as soon as I take the bottom off (to change the coil) which means I either have to empty my tank or make a huge mess (bc I forgot to empty the tank) and the Triton 2 for some reason I have the hardest time opening the chamber to add juice, I have to use a wrench (I'm hoping that will ease over time)!

So after all that nonsense (sorry this is turning into a novel!), my question I guess is, is there a top fill tank (that's preferably NOT a pain in the ...., or arthritis infested hands) that will either take a Naut coil or a coil VERY similar? I can't subohm, I vape at 8-9watts TOPS, I'm a 'simple vaper', as my friends say, and I just want great flavor with a nice, easy top fill tank.
