Well guys/girls I have a little dilemma. I have $40 to spend on a new tank. I've got it boiled down to the Nautilus or a 22mm IBTanked with 5 cartos. Each will be $35 plus shipping so about the same exact price. I REALLY want a Nautilus but really want to get into carto tanks as well. This would be my first carto of any kind. Right now my main tank I use is the iclear30s, which I DO like...but at the same time I want more vapor and more flavor. I am kind of torn here and would like to make up my mind today so I can get one ordered. The down side about the Nautilus is it only comes with 2 heads and more are expensive. The plus side about the IBTanked is that it would come with 5 cartos, which would hopefully last me a while.
Also a side question. Right now I see if I get the standard size 22mm tank the only options they have for the cartos are 3.0 ohm. I have an MVP2 and a vv v3 which as you probably know max out at 5v. Would I have enough to power a 3ohm carto, or should I try to find a 2 ohm somewhere? 2 ohm is what I was planning on doing but now I see they're not available. Maybe I should go with the 22mm XL tank. Opinion so I can get the 2ohm cartos? As usual, thanks guys!

I am so torn lol. I don't think I can go wrong either way. I really do want to get into cartos but admit I am a little intimidated by them. The other thing I've been thinking is how long do the nautilus coils last before vapor production starts to diminish or the coils go bad. I don't want to go through 2 coils in a week then not be able to use it. Oh and one more thing, before anyone says just order both, I can't! I have exactly $40 to spend so it's one or the other. Just wondering if there's anything else to think about or consider with either option that I may have not thought of.

I really like the Nautilus. Here is a sucky photo of the nautilus on a mvp pink shine. Just so you can gauge the size. The taste is wonderful. I have to say it is better than any of my rebuilable atomizers. I've only been vaping a few days on the Nautilus so I cannot justify to any knowledge of coil life. :)

I own 2 Aspire Nautilus and they are great. It's nice to hold 5ml of liquid and to be able to adjust the airflow. I also have the aero base for my Protank 2's and they work very well. If you have any Protanks maybe this would be the way to go ( buy an aero base ) and then you can afford to buy the IBTanked.

I don't have the IBTanked to compare it with the AN.

Which ever one you decided on look for a coupon from the vendor to help with the cost.

Good Luck to You.

I bought a Nautilus last week. It's really a nice tank and I haven't had a bit of problems with it. It has good flavor, plenty of vapor and is easy to use.The variable air flow is nice...but...I find it to be more airy than what I was used to (iClear 16's) even on the tightest setting. My juice is 70P/30V, maybe with a switch to 50/50 or so it would tighten up a bit. I am getting used to the hit, just different than what I was used to. On the other hand, you can lung hit it like a beast with the wide open setting. I can also up my wattage and not get a burnt taste. My 16's operated at 7.5 to 8 max before burnt taste crept in, the Nautilus can consistently hit 9-9.5 with the same juice. Quality is top notch as far as machining, fit and finish go. That 5 ml. tank seems bottomless...

Haven't tried cartos yet, so can't help you much there...sorry.

Thanks guys! Those of you with the Nautilus, does the vapor production blow the other clearos out of the water? I am kind of a cloud chaser you could say and really want more vapor than I am getting. I really like the 30s but it doesn't seem to take long before vapor production drops off with a new coil. I am leaning towards the Nautilus right now. I may order one from discount vapors. Too bad the cheaper sites are all sold out. I guess $35 isn't bad though. Whichever one I decide to go with I will definitely also get the other down the road. Not sure how long but eventually I WILL have both! Lol. What an addicting habit.

IBtanked is top of the line when it comes to a carto tank system. The most reliable and simple system out there. The Natilus is currently one of the newest cartos tanks out and the heads can be a bit expensive unless you build your own. I have both but find myself using the IBtanked most often just because it is simple and I get a great consistant performance.

I am not into cartos but I can vouche for the Nautilus. Have mine on top of a Smotech Natural Mech with no Kick and I love it. Yes the replacement coils are expensive but you can build your own coils for it. I was expected to use up a lot of my 50/50 juice with it but after an 8 hours of vaping today it hasn't gone down a whole ml.

Well I pulled the trigger on the nautilus from discountvapers. I paid an extra $2 for faster shipping so I'm hoping it may be here within a few days. Next order will be for the IBTanked. I am definitely going to be getting one. Aushizz....I like the way the 19mm looks on the MVP but I want something with larger capacity than that and find the 3ml capacity of the 22mm would be good. Plus I've seen a couple pics of a 22mm on the MVP and it doesn't look bad. Hopefully I don't regret my decision, I guess I'll know in a few days. I was considering ordering a 5 pack of coils for the Nautilus but discountvapers doesn't have any in stock. I figured if I did it all in one order I'd save on additional shipping. What are the best sites you guys have found for the nautilus coils that have them in stock? Just curious for when I do order some. Thanks!

OP,

Why not get a cheaper cartotank to see if you like it first? The carto is what will make the difference in taste and vapor, not the tank. Smok Tech UDCT locking tank

Your call, but a shame to drop the change on something that you may not be happy with. I never was satisfied with cartos until i got this thing DCT Pro Coil Nice improvement for me, but YMMV
