I've recently purchased this tank based on two separate recommendations. I'm currently using the 1.8 ohm coil that came pre-installed and I'm very happy with the flavour, vapor production and just plain ease of use. I did however purchased the 4 ML adapter the very next day as this tank does go through juice pretty quickly for an MTL tank. The flavour from various juices breaks up nicely and I'm tasting little nuances I didn't detect before. The actual vapor quality is really nice as well.

What made this tank shine for me above my others is how little it gurgles after filling it. Even if the coil gets a little flooded, I’ll just blow into the mouthpiece and dab the air ports with a napkin, and it’s good to go.

I’m not sure why this device received mixed reviews, my best guess is the original 1.5 ohm coils didn’t perform as well as the 1.8 ohm coils. Regardless, I’d rank this as my new number 1. Below are a list of tanks I’ve used to date, and where they fall on my list. Please keep in mind, this is purely subjective.

Nautilus X - Flavour 9, Vapor Production 9, reliability 9

Innokin T20s (Prism S) - Flavour 8, vapor production 9, easy of use 7 (occasional leaks, requires frequent refills)

Nautilus OG - Flavour 7, Vapor Production 7, ease of use/reliability 8 (not as tasty as the above-two-tanks, but is easier to use than the T20s as you don’t need frequent refills, but it does leak occasionally)

Nautilus 2 - Flavour 9, vapor production 9, ease of use 5 (the flavour and vapor production is great on this tank, but it requires frequent refills and will often leak juice into the air ports so regularly that it made this tank a nuisance for me)

T18 Prism tank - Flavour 9, vapor production 7, ease of use 4 (wonderful warm vapor and taste but prone to flooded coils and liquid will often leak into the battery, I had to carry q-tips and tissue with me just to use this tank, as well, I was never sure when I’d got hot juice spitting into my mouth)

I've always been fond of the Nautilus X, though I'm a little surprised they're still available. They've really been eclipsed by the 2 and 2S, now. The 1.5 ohm coil was a problem. It wasn't half as good as the 1.8.

If you want to do any more exploring, I'd recommend the Innokin Zenith. It's pretty popular around here, and for good reason.

I would love to try the Zenith, but unfortunately it's wider than my mod (22 mm).

The only thing that bugs me about the nautilus X is AFAIK it doesn’t use the BVC coil. It’s got its own X coils that are harder to get and may go out of production.
Most stores close to me carry the X-coils in 0.6 ohm & 1.8 ohm, so as long as I can get a good year out of the tank, I'll be happy :)

Yup, this is still my favorite tank of all time. The 1.8 coil is the best flavor of any MTL coil for me (using 50/50 juice) and you can actually get the airflow super tight, which I love. And ya, that initial 1.5 coil really killed this whole platform. I really hope they make a new version of this with an easier top fill.

Good that you have the silver one; I have 4 of these tanks, and both blank ones are harder to open the top fill...I think it's the blank paint, but both silver are much better. Just a tip for anyone interested.

I'm pretty happy with the tank as well.

Q: have you tried the 0.6 ohm coils yet? One of the store owners swears by them, says flavours are as good as the 1.8 ohm coils, but the break-in time is much less on the 0.6 ohm coils.

Ya know, I used to love them, but they seemed to have a bad run for awhile where I got a few packs of semi duds. They just didn't last long, and just had general performance issues. But they were great when they worked, so might be worth checking them out again. I would hope those bad ones are out of circulation by now.

Thanks, I'll give them a shot. Luckily my local B&M vape shop sells coils individually, and if you get a bad coil, you have 4-days to exchange it.
