I'm amazed. I was a pretty heavy smoker, but I was interested in e-cigs and had been lurking on these forums for a fair bit before I decided to give them a go.
I placed my first order for a "disposable 510" model. I figured it was an imitation but it should give me a good enough idea of what it's like... well, it didn't, it was pretty crappy actually. Undaunted, I decided that all of you guys raving about your 510s etc. there has to be something to it, so I placed an order for a *real* one
and a 10ml bottle of random mint juice. The order arrived on the 5th of Feb, and I've never looked back.
Last week, I placed an order for 3 more bottles of liquid, as I was nearly out of the first bottle I purchased. I was concerned that it wouldn't arrive in time, and I'd be left without nicotine, and dammit, that will not stand, ergo I purchased a pack of cigarettes from the convenience store down the street.
Well, turns out my juice did arrive on time and I was never left without, but now I figure out of principle I have to smoke these cigarettes. Dear lord, I thought you guys were being overly dramatic when you said how horrible "analogs" (I am still uncomfortable with that terminology) tasted after "vaping" (I'm fairly accepting of this one
)... You weren't lying, it was probably the most awful taste I've ever put in my mouth.
Regardless I sucked them down because I'd rather not waste $6.50 and I figured that will be my last... and it will be.
I'm absolutely awestruck by how much better I feel, how much cleaner I feel, and most importantly I'm pleased that my "habit" will now be much safer for me and my family.
Thank you guys for shooting straight here. And to anyone like me who thought this community exxagerates or overdramatizes how awful regular cigarettes taste after vaping for a while... it is every bit as horrible tasting as people say, if not more so. I'd sooner stop my nicotine intake entirely than go back to those things.
