I'm digging these little suction cup eGo holders.

What are some of your favorite cheap but useful accessories?

I made this from seasoned pine I had laying out in the storage shed. It holds (almost) all of my Ego systems. I have another, smaller one with holes drilled to accept a couple of 7/8" diameter mods and eight Ego systems. That one is made of seasoned oak that was right next to the pine.

Neither one took me more than an hour to cut and glue together. Drilling and sanding took another hour.

No more games of PV dominoes!

I know some of y'all will LOL but my holder is made out of a Spam can.

Cleaned it well. Wrapped the outside with a granite looking contact paper. Made the dividers out of cardboard. It holds 10 ego type batteries and has a very small footprint.

The only juice delivery device my hubby will use is little CE3 XL clearos. I use tic-tac containers for those. I remove the top and tape 2 or more of them together. Then cover them with the same contact paper. Each container holds 3 clearos.

I've always heard necessity is the mother of invention and it seems to fit the bill here. :D

Battery cases like the above can be used to transport clearomizers or cartotanks when out on the go. I am able to put two Smoktech DCT tanks or XL IBTanks with drip tips attached in these.

This is a ballistic nylon battery case that is 3" long, 2 1/2" wide, 3/4" high. It closes with a zipper and comes with a carabiner and keyring. The inside is padded and has a strap to secure batteries/bottles. It will hold up to 18650 battery size.

But, but, but, but..... I thought you said to always keep batteries in the plastic boxes....

If this is a serious question, the point of safe battery transport is to keep any metal away from the batteries to prevent a possible short circuit. Although the plastic cases are the best and most logical option, the above cases can also be used and serve the same purpose.

These cases can be used for other applications, too, as I showed above. :)

I use a lazy Susan I bought from a local grocery store, a few pretty glasses I found around the house, my brother-in-law made me a mod stand to hold my SVD's and a few 1100 mAh batteries... I use an old pewter cup to hold my ink pens...

I love repurposing!

I can't decide if I am drooling more over all the hardware or the bling or the organization of it all! I have a boring little cardboard shipping box for my juice & spare clearos. My spare wicks/coils are just stashed around like I used to have lighters everywhere--each purse, each tool bag, weekend size suitcase, messenger bag, etc. & my 3 ego batteries just stay next to me on the end table or get slipped in the little vendor supplied travel bag when I go out. :D:D:D I am beyond green with envy!

So,

I haven't seen anything commercially available that does what I am about to show you. So I will share this instead of marketing it.

The story:

I got this SID a while back. Great little PV and it's my main mod; my daily cloudmaker. I have also learned that these SIDs are amazingly tough. I have a few dings and scratches mostly from tipping it over on my desk.

Again and again. And always, it seems, when I need quiet...CRACK!

So I have been thinking about this for a while. How do I keep it from happening, just what would work.

Yeah I know, " get a mod rack or custom wood stand."

But I already have a pretty full desk, and what about when I am away from my computer? Lanyard for fatty mods.....eh, nahhh.

So I am ditty boppin around in a full service hardware store the other day and my intuition is like sending out radar pulses "Lookie here" it says and WHAM! There it is!

My discovery, this:

0-0-0.jpg

It's called a shaft collar (or set screw shaft collar) and it is AWESOME!

Its inner diameter is 1" outer is 1 5/8".

Weighs 3.5 ounces, which is the absolute perfect weight to keep a PV from flopping over. The stability this gives is unbelieveable. Not only will it not fall over on a solid flat top, the God blessed thing will sit solid on many surfaces!

It's not too heavy to vape with while attached to your mod, either.

Lookie here:

My SID after...

Side view, here you can see it's very solidly attached:

Bottom View:

So there it is. I am pretty stoked! I think this will work with a variety of PVs with a similar diameter.

I got my collar for under five dollars, but here's a link from Home Depot, and it's under $3 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!

It's truly awesome, it never falls over now. Every time I used to reach across my desk it used to tip over with a "crack" now it's solid.

So, there's something to mess with. Let me know how it works on your mod.

Gr8
