This is for the Hawk. Finally got around to doing it.

Nice vid Gota. Thanks for doing that....you rock.
For the most part I've done what you show....think I'm a bit lazy when actually doing the wrap. Mine aren't as tight and I do the tweezer squeeze and flame as well. Guess I need to put more effort in the wrap.

Couple of ?'s and comments. Might be disjointed....that's what you get today. Part of me actually melted today.....

First off...is your little holding gizmo....what you set the igo in while you're doing other things, a weed eater spool????
Brilliant. So easy and yet I let my shiate roll around the table...lol

I had seen a pic/post of yours elsewhere and commented on how low you go to the deck. Reason for that? I always figured I wanted to keep the coil high and dry. But I treat the Igo more as a dripper. Hardly ever more than 4 drops after its broke in and saturated.

You cut your cotton wick short on one side and long on the other. I usually pull it 50/50.
Is there some magic in that method.

You obviously have way more dexterity than I do. But made me warm and fuzzy to see you use the old man cheater magnifier...lol.
When I'm attaching my coils I leave the "bit" in the coil. Gives me more surface to hold on to....that's it for that. Nothing epic. Just how I have to do it. I'm afraid I'd crush that coil doing it freehand like you did.

Ummmm.....was waiting for a mug shot to see if you were as ugly as Pitt, or more in line with Jake. Gotta say.....you have a sexy Rico Suavey video voice.....

Don't run from the cops. Those fat .......s have radios and helicopters.....they'll get you....and it pisses them off...GREATLY.
Been missing you buddy. I was a bit concerned. Since I hadn't seen jake around either I figured you two went off on some kind of romantic/weird/illegal/morally decrepit vacation. Was kinda hurt that I wasn't invited.....

Thanks Hawk! I like hate pics of myself so wanted to stay out of the way of the video camera as well. Don't need to give the cops any freebies if for some odd reason, they come after me!

The holder I was using is actually a spool of Kanthal. I find that it worked well for rebuilding on instead of plopping down money to buy one of those fancy stands that I see reviewers use.

I keep my coil low do to the position of my air hole. I like my air hole to be right on with the coil for good vapor production and cooling. This thing gets hot when chain vaping. That's also why I have the long legs, so I can get the coil to the outer edge of the deck, closer to the the air hole.

I guess the only reason I keep the one side of my wick short is that I don't like a lot of wick cutting off my air flow that is happening inside the cap. Whether it actually helps or my mind is just tricking me into thinking it does, i don't know. I usually fill my Igo up with 15 or so drops to start with and then 10-12 when refilling. I keep the air hole away from me at first when vaping but as my liquid empties out, I start rotating the air hole until it finally is facing me.

That magnifying lamp comes in handy but I still haven't gotten use to looking through it. Sometimes I get too close to it and the whole damn things gets steamed up to where I can't see a thing!!

I actually need to get a spool of 28 gauge. It would probably be hard to carry a dripper in your current job.

Just tried a double wire wrapped micro. One wire is 28 gauge and the other is 34 gauge. 1.3ohms. One wire glows brighter then the other. It's weird. Seems to bring out back notes more then a single wire coil but I have to do more testing before I can actually confirm that.

2 hours early everyday and lucky to only do a 10 hour day....7 days a week. I hate my job.

I am seeing more vapers in the wild. A few weeks ago I saw a customer vaping at Walmart. Then last week I saw a co-worker vaping on her break. Then yesterday I saw a Walmart employee vaping on her break. I asked about vaping policy there and she said that the store manager who is a smoker has forbidden vaping in the store. No idea about Walmart's policy in general.

I have actually walked through 2 of the local Walmarts and took some pulls in front of employees.. So far nobody has said anything about it.
