Going on day two of the Igo F. I moved the wicks tails out of the tank and wrapped them around the positive and negative posts on the deck. In doing so, the only way to get liquid to the wick is by the fill hole in the bottom of the tank or by dripping through the permanent drip tip. I am not in love with the fill hole on the bottom of the tank. Makes for some messy fills. Like I said earlier, there is no way of knowing when the tank is full unless liquid comes out of the fill hole or liquid starts coming out of the drip tip.

To be fair about my previous comment on the wicking and dry hits, I use I 35/65 PG/VG ratio so my liquid is on thick side.

Hmmmm...so far I'm not loving your igo-f......love the L however.
Dunno....looking at the protank but not sure i would dig the cooler vape of a bottom burner. may try one anyway.

I have a couple of the Protanks as well. In my opinion, the Igo L provides a much warmer and flavorful vape then anything I have tried to date up to and including the Cisco HH 357 atty. In fact, I just took the F off my Provari and put my L back on. Was using the same juice, same ohm coil and same voltage with both the F and L and the vapor/flavor is more intense with the L by a long shot. Hawk, your money would be better spent elsewhere like on another L!

What gauge wire and how many wraps do you use on your L? I just did a build on a new L and did 3 wraps of 30. It ohmed at 1.2 so I took a wrap off. I couldn't get a reading on my Provari after taking the wrap off but I would venture to guess it was .6-.8ohms. Then when going to a drag, it popped and a puff of hot air shot into my mouth. After taking the drip tip off, I did a burn while watching the coil and it was fine. Put the drip tip on and went for a vape and again, another shot of hot air and a pop like the coil caught fire. I repeated the process a couple times before setting the L aside. I am not sure if the L is not getting enough air since it only does this with the drip tip on while trying to pull a vape. It is the stock air hole and while on my other L's I modified the holes to 1/16th". I was going to put one of the modified tops on but I have the wick so wound up in them that it makes a mess taking the tops off and putting them back on. Not ready to deal with that mess right now.

Definitely have to keep it on the wet side - once cotton gets fried, it's done done donesky. I'm not sure what site you are referring to, but I hear the eLiquid is fantastic.

I been on ECF lockdown for a while so I been quiet. I got some vapemail!~ I am *loving* this new Sigelei #8. I topped it with my Octopus RDA, 2-3 wrapped 28 guage Kanthal @ .8ohms, thing hits like a truck. The mod showed up with 100% brass contacts, brass spring, and a brass firing button... I couldn't believe it. I need to post a pic. Nice setup, less than $25 shipped for the mod and the RDA. RAWR

The coil I have now is a 3/2 of 28ga. Kanthal. Was figuring it would come in around .8 but was 1.3???? I guess there's a lot of variance on the distance to the terminals and how far you wrap around the terminals. That's all I can figure.

Provari DID not like this coil. Fussed with it and fussed with it....screw it.....on the Bullet at 6 volts. The bullet doesn't care what you throw on her. I love my 2 bullets.
1.3 at 6volts. Nice warm vape. Just doing the math in my head....app. 20 watts???? Can that be right??? Yeah maybe. I've always felt that watts(and volts for that matter) aren't created equal. 10 watt set up on 1 device seems way different on another.

That pop with the tip on??? Air lock of some sort???
One thing I find with the L is that I need to rotate it so the coil is on the high side if I tilt it any. On the low side it gurgles, in between it kinda pops like you're describing...but not POP. And this is with the air hole at dead center coil. If you tilt any while hitting it and you haven't tried rotating it so the coil is in different positions...that might help. Air hole placement might make a difference. Or maybe it's that killer DIY you're putting in there. Scaring that coil

Hope you sort it out. Going to buy another L or 2 based on your experience with the F and the pro tank. Thanks for the input/advice.

I have had this happen one other time and that was on the Cisco HH 357. It literally blew drip tip loose. I thought I had popped the coil in the atty but it was fine. It is overall weird. I will try putting another cap on with the modified air hole and see what that does. I am off to work now so I won't get a chance to play with it until at least tomorrow morning.

Never heard of that before. Screw it. Just put in a mouth guard and don a pair of goggles and go for it...

I'm sure you mentioned how many volts you're shoving into it. Does it do that at lower voltage?
