Yeah I start with a longer piece of wire than I'll need, then I make the coil and then bend the legs back up to just below the first coil on each side,then stick it all in the nova head and run the wires out the bottom, insert the rubber grommet and center post, then trim the wires...

Sometimes you 2 get way to technical for me......
I let the wires run long and wild and trim them close when I've done the best I can....

As far as that taking care of a kid stuff.....kudos to you. Karma sees all....you shall be repaid at least 2 fold.
Actually...that came off kinda crass....opening uo your home to someone in need is stellar....your my hero.....

That's really cool of you to do that man! How old is the kid? The only thing I really hate about doing foster care is dealing with all of the political bs, and the complete lack of communication between case workers and lawyers and everyone!

By wires..we are still talking about nichrome/kanthal type wire.. riiiiiiiight? Lol

I have always looked at it in the way where I feel I have everything I need and then some, so why not do for others who otherwise don't/wouldn't have that.. Been in the field for too long for it to work any other way.

I'm afraid since I don't have any NR wire that if I don't double up the legs it will end up burning the rubber grommet...

Well I took care of all the paperwork with the attourney on Thursday, last week.. Just waiting for her to send me the officials. I will be the emergency guardian until they have the hearing to make it permanent.
