Some people were saying they were having a problem with the rubber grommet burning, but so far none of my stock heads have really burnt the grommet. A couple of them it looks like the grommet might have gotten a little warm, but definitely not burnt.

I used it at first, when doing the nova heads because I was worried about the burning. Don't think I ran into that problem after I stopped using it. I was (am) also using it for the Vivi RA, so I don't have a long positive leg at the top.

Yeah, it's a top-coil tank/genny hybrid thingy. I modded it into a genny style RA. But rather than drill the wick hole at an angle, I use NR wire from the top end of the coil to the post.

I would like to think. Their great about pretending that they have no clue as to what we're doing....when we do it over and over and over....
Sometimes I get shiatty with them but even that does no good. They'll take verbal abuse over physical labor any day.

It's this thing that I'm talking about..


Don't really use it anymore since the other RAs came to me..but it will get some use again.

My normal setup is usually rotating carto tanks and RAs between all of my PVs, lol. I like variety, so I have 10 tanks with different flavors and then the 4 gennies and 2 RDAs. I haven't been using the rebuildable stuff lately, cause I just haven't had the time to really fiddle with any of that. One of these days I'm just gonna pull them back out and keep at 'em like I did when I first got all of that stuff.

Yeah..seems as though I have a rough head cold. Woke up early this morning and as I got out of bed, I thought to myself "Man, I don't remember drinking last night." Oh well.. light work load today, but we have a handful of things scheduled for today that need to get done and I just want to go back to bed. Loaded up on some day-quil and mucinex, some coffee and hopefully I will just get this outta me today.
